Like, seriously now, how the hell do you get 100%?

I have GT1 (100%) GT2 (100%) GT3 (100%) all because of my dad.

So, he *ahem* croaked before GT4 came out and i got it thinking that it shouldn't be too difficult to complete, but it was a nightmare, i still play it but i have had it since launch and im not even 30% yet (I HATE liscence tests).

So, how do you people complete it without getting horribly bored? Massive cocain shots? 5 keys of heroin going through a catheter?

Um...They just TRULY enjoy beating the most expansive games for playstations.

I cant find one of those around here for the life of me.

Also, i have a slimline so it difficult because i have to action replay max above version 3.3

Ebay or even Amazon also has almost all of your questions answered... :)

If not, the awesome power of Google can answer ALL of your questions... :D (See what I'm doing?)

Yeah, but if you order from Amazon or something, you have to use a card. At the store, you just push some cash across the counter, the guy doesn't even find out your name. Fully secure. :O

Another Kiwi, w00t! :D

A Trademe search turned up nothing, except for two (AR Maxes) listed in Australia :| I suggest borrowing a 100% save off someone you know as a last-ditch effort ;)

I actually outsource the tedious parts to Chinese child labor camps.

C'mon... we're not all freaks... I've been stuck at 95% for two years on GT4 and 99.8% on GT3 (damn freaking GAME-GLITCH!!!!)

And now that I've started playing GT5p... I guess I'll forever be at 95%.

So what? Mine got corrupted at 99.7 % complete.

No, you don't understand... I finished absolutely everything. Every single event... gold everywhere. 100% of the races done... and... guess what? 99.8%. It's an old glitch... apparently if you don't do certain races in order, you'll never get 100%. And I didn't.

I still cry about it sometimes, huddled in fetal position in the shower, after I've watched one too many TV shows about global warming... :nervous:

That would be utterly devastating. After how many years trying to complete it...

Although I have fully completed GT, GT2, and GT3, I do not have 100%-completion-status at GT4, and I probably never will. It's not a requirement for membership here. After all, we have forums to help you out (although searching will do you wonders).

100% doesn't really matter to me.., what i'm only after in GT is the cars and tuning them, i'm contented with that.., ;)👍

After 4 years, I'm only just at 98% on GT4. 100% will come soon, I'm sure. It just takes time and determination. 👍

To me, it just takes time and a little bit of skill. I finished it once, started over, stopped playing for several months when I reached 35% or so, and now I'm 71% finished.

I never reached 100% in GT4. GT was 100%, but that was easy and quick. GT2 was at that odd 99.8% glitch, which is 100% really, but that was easy and just time consuming.

GT3 never got completed. I think it is in the 80~% range. GT4 is sitting at 60% because I get car ADD. I do a race for completion, but while there I see the AI with a car that catches my eye. So, I go check it out and buy it. Then I tune and drive it to get it just right and then enter some race with it that doesn't count toward anything. While there I see the AI has a car that catches my eye. So, I go check it out..... You can see where that is going.

The only way I could get myself out of that rut was to actually stop playing for a time and then come back refocused on completion %.

Getting completion is not hard in GT4. I manage to beat every completion race fairly easy. But then I have been playing GT games for a while and don't struggle nearly as much to control it as people who have never played it before.

You joined a GT forum. You're one of us now, whether you like it or not. Welcome to the freak club.

I wouldn't know. I haven't attained 100% in any GT game. (Perhaps in GT1, but I can't remember)

Why should it be hard? It's just a matter of doing it. I got 100% in GT3.

I'm at about 70% in GT4 after 3 or 4 years, but that's mostly a matter of free time rather than interest. That being said, 100% completion should not be a focus in Gran Turismo. If it is a real focus for you, GT is probably not your series.

I've had GT4 for maybe 5 years. I got to 75% pretty easily, then played it a lot for a couple of months to get to 95% maybe 2 years ago? I was at 98% for ages, and it just crept up over the past couple of years. I've only just put in the final push to get from 99%+ or so to completion (pesky 24hr races take days when you A-spec them.) Of course, this crosses out one of the 'things to do before getting a PS3/GT5:P'...

Hmm.

Damn i would not be able to stand that. I'd be sitting there trying everything in my power to get 100%. The end result would be a smashed PS2 and a rather stressed looking me. Well not really :p I don't have that kind of money to waste :dopey:.

I got 100% in GT1 and GT2, I'm not sure if I ever did all the endurance races in GT3, maybe but wither way it weas either 100% or 1 race off it. GT4 I never got past 80%, I put the game down and moved onto other games. I'd have never had a chance f beating it anyway, the computer couldn't do the Le Sarth enurance races on B-Spec it always crashed and stayed crashed, I usually couldn't leave the PS2 plugged in long enough anyway and there was zero percent chance I was doing thoes raecs myself.

I dont play games for 100%. I play them just for fun and in this case the sweet cars and drifiting like an idiot 👍

I never complete a single GT game honoustly, GT4 now at 90+ % but those driving mission are impossible for me, but i dont want to get 100% , just wanna enjoy the game, though its a shame i miss a prizecar i think for that 100%.

GT5Prologue done all race missions! lol

This thread is somewhat redundant... we in fact know we spend a lot of time beating these games!

I have 100% races in GT1, 59.7% in GT2, 98.2% in GT3 (Time Attack!), and, of course, 99.8% in GT4 (Mission 34!). People spend a lot of time beating these games because we have, as we always have had (please point out flaws in my English for me), an urge to conquer our environments, which happen to be these games. You should try it, Pvt Zac; it's a very rewarding experience.

I am NOT being sarcastic.
