In Gran Turismo 5 what do people mean when they say replicas and how do you make a replica? Is it classed as boosting or cheating? Thank you in advance!

A replica is making a car that is not in GT using a car that is.

For example, take a Mazda3, change it's power, weight & suspension settings and you have a Mazdaspeed3, or 3MPS.

It's just a car tuned to it's real life counterpart.

Example, a Lamborghini Gallardo tune to the specs of the Superleggera.

One of the most used examples has to be the '07 BMW M3 tuned and styled to closely match the M3 GTS by using similar wheels, a very close paint match and then tuning everything from weight and power down to the gear ratios.

@ Findog maybe we could change the title of the thread to "your replicas" , i'm interested to see what people have come up with (M3 looks great by the way in that trim).
