Well remember when I said I would never switch to manual(We all know where its going from here) from auto. Well I was bored and decided to turn on my PS2 to play GT4 since I stopped maybe a month ago. I was low on cash after I bought a Used Corvette Grandsport.
So I did that Special Conditions race I did the first part on Auto and won easily. And I did the second in manual to try it out. I tailed the Celica the whole race and lost because most of my attention was on shifting 👎. But I got the turns down and the gears in which to go through them in so I won by 4 secs.. Not much but the car is slow on the uphill
Well I sold the car I won and bought a Trueno for fun and fixed it all the way up with original settings and hit Midfield reverse...
I had some probs on which gears to use to drift but I got it down. And wasn't drifting as well as when I was on auto. But it was a new car so I switched to my Sileighty(With settings from DR) and did better with that car than when I was on auto... Well at least more control but I still couldn't take all the turns with ease. So I am just saying that I caught on quickly to the manual because I guess I haven't played in a while.
But I have a question if you didn't bother to read all of it and skipped down to the last paragraph. Well sometimes while accelerating during a drift my rpm get max and if I don't keep going faster I will gain traction but if I shift up I will gain traction anyway how would I counter that?
