I got 100 grand and i dunno what car i should get i was thinkin either a Dodge Viper or a Nissan Skyline plz tell me what you would buy or should i save up a little more to buy somethin else????? :confused: :confused:
 
For versatility, I'd go with the Skyline. It's got about the same top end at full tune (>240 MPH is nothing for either car), but I personally prefer 4WDs.

OTOH, neither car is bad; it's just that the Skyline is more predictable and less spin-happy.
 
I'd go for a Lancer Evolution VI or VII, IMO the Lancer is a much better handling car than the Skyline. Then just tune it up to about 500bhp
 
Buy either a Lancer or the Pennzoil Skyline from Nissan (785,000cr) its awesome especially with asm and tcs off.
 
i'd go with the Evo VI. or get all golds on Rally License and get the Escudo for free! what a great deal!

I'm not doging the Evo's, but I have won over twelve of them and wouldn't spend a dime on one since GT3 seems so generous with giving them out as prizes... ;)

I don't think he has used it, coz as far as I know its not available in the UK.

what is "gameshark" if it is some sort of cheat thing, you are mistaken my friend, i am on day 400 so 10000000credits isn't that far fetched realy is it....

Don't listen to Threat he is always trying to make himself out to be the badass around here who always puts everyone down. He doesnt know crap about the game he just wants to feel high and mighty all the time.

the only race i haven't won is the f1 series, purely because they are so darn long and my 2 year old would rather i play with her at the moment, so unfortunately i am lucky to get 5 mins to my self let good gt3:p

Consider yourself lucky that the Gameshark I bought didn't work, and I had to take it back...:mad:

I bought 4 Gamesharks(1 at first, then took it back, exchanged for another, so on & so on...), and none of the PlayStation2 discs that came with them would work, just the PS1 discs...:mad::confused:
 
How can you limey chaps say you never heard of the blasted things when all along that is where they are manufactured(in the U.K.)? You must be pulling our legs and giving us the business. I can't believe you have never heard of them. Well I guess I never heard of an Australian Tickford before GT3, either(what are those?). Sorry for the misunderstanding!

Pah? =] Am I the only guy who bought a Mustang as their second car?

Oh well, I love my mustang at the moment, 5.4 litre, V8 engine with the way I have it 716 BHP, handles a dream letting me glide it around the corners at high speed, plus it has a good top end speed and Acceleration. Shame I can't put any turbo boosters on their =[, but then again, do I need them? :D

I'm considering starting a 'league site' up, where you post your times for tracks, stating the car you used etc. Maybe even have competitions for real money, where you pay a small amount to enter and the winner takes all. I guess I'll have to figure out an easy way of getting people to prove their times tho. *How easy is that PS2 Screenie taking* anyway?

Just curious, what lap times you guys have had around the speedway? I got my mustang to do a 35.627 laptime around there...

Nope. I bought a mustang. Great car. Gainer enough money for a Dodge Viper tuned it up to go over 1000 hp
 
yeh but A) This guy only has 100,000 and B) I heard the viper is a ***** to drive when it has 1000 BHP...

I had the Trueno Sprinter as the first car, pretty gutsy. The second one I bought was the Good Old American standard Mustang(red) of course, a true moneymaker and a go-getter! The best car for the money! The third car I purchased was tha Viper. Beefed up it is a pleasure to drive and you must make the settings work or you will have problems the whole race. I do have settings that I was successful with, I beat everything by 20-30 seconds. These were the cobras and GT40s etc. I had great times at Laguna. You do have to learn how to drive it. He should go with a Mustang, can't go wrong.

My 2nd car was a Lancer VI RS (I didn't felt like cruising in my PT cruiser one more sec! Bleh!!) then I got the skyline vtec II soon after that I parked a RGT in my garage.

Now i'm at a point where i can't be troubled for money and where-as i can probably buy any car+tuning I like so i've been testing with lots a cars quite some hours and especially the viper and i grew to love it! Haven't touched the mustang though :) bleh! I'll give the ol' red a try tonight... cheers!
 
SKY LINE is best but VIPER has the need 4 speed!!!

skyline=230-240
viper=260+
