Its like 9 1/2 -10 inches tall.

Not exact but close- it's 4 inches from the bottom of the shifter housing to the top. 2.5 inches is that height of the shifter stick- not including the thread where the shifter knob goes on (that includes the red bottom section of the knob). The knob itself (along with the bottom section) is around 3 inches. Overall around 9.5" tall.
