I guess it was inevitable...

The salesman at work asked if I wanted to sell the car back today. Apparently now that its sold he has received 9 phone calls about it.

Don't. You'll regret it. Also, shouldn't that dealership remove the ad after the car has been delivered?

Yeah, forget that.

My opinion about the power steering. Manual steering has a negative effect on maybe 1% of my daily driving, and the other 99% is all positive. One of the greatest things about a Miata is the feel when driving it, the shifting, steering, running through the revs, how it handles. I even like how it sounds. My mr2, corolla, corolla and miata all had manual steering, all of them had a better feel at the wheel than any other car I've ever driven. It's a simple mod that enhances the car with a very very little drawback. I'm also skinny as ****, it's not hard to deal with. Never had an issue during an autocross.

I'm not 100% sure how serious he was. He does do a lot of talking. I told him I'd do it but only if we could both make a healthy profit.

I've never been a fan of the fart can muffler look, but you might think otherwise. I skipped the Corksport for my car and spent the same amount on a custom piece with a more attractive muffler and tip.

I like the look of the smaller ones. The large fart pipes look silly. We've got a civic hatch at work that has a pipe big enough to stick my foot in.

The issue with a custom piece is that I'm not sure I trust any local shops to not do a hack job and over charge for it.

I had the Corksport system on my car. I have a video of it, but the car was turbocharged so it would sound different. You can kind of see it here:

I was my paint wasn't so fubared.

Looking around on gomiata.com I really want that CF rear finish panel and CF ducktail trunk lid. Some sort of a hard top and some wheels and I'd be set visually. Maybe some skinny CF side mirrors?

unless by capable you mean capable of fitting two 12s in the trunk. In that case an old crown vic is a dime a dozen.

Hardtops are expensive. Before I bought the car I had seen a couple on craigslist on the 350-500 range. Now that I've bought the car I just saw one in average condition sell for $952 on ebay. :(

I guess I'll be replacing the soft top then. Is it mandatory that I replace the rain rail? I suppose I should check mine out before buying anything.

If you do get a rain rail, do yourself a favor and get a top with it already attached. When we did the top on my Miata, it was easy to tell that if the rail wasnt attached, it would have been a huge ordeal.

I got the title in the mail yesterday. It has my old address on it which was also miss spelled. Its a wonder it got to me at all.

Currently I've saving money and looking for parts. I'll see where I'm at come warmer weather.

I am currently trying to sell the car. I am going to apply for a job in the service department at the dealership I work at and I need more tools.
