I hate GTR haters

How bout you complete the statement first. My point was that there is a huge difference in hp gain when slapping on a bunch of parts. The potential of the car shows that it is not fast stock IN GAME. Therefore when people say its already fast and easy to drive...well yea its easy to drive because it is slow IN GAME. Lets separate reality people. Remember the name cpizzythegod.

I am a GT-R fan I guess to some. I have used it in the game and a guy I work with owns one that I drooled on a few times already...

The GTR/Skyline is truly an amazing car merging Tech and Mechanics like it has. Most of the car in real life you can turn systems off and on as you wish (VERY complex TC system for example). You can also dial in the car to do what you want it to do. It moves the mechanic tuning from under the hood/car to the drivers seat. I enjoy working on cars but if I can change my car by pressing a new setting on a touchscreen... I will take the touchscreen!

In the game, for those of you nailing it for being AWD, you can set it as you want for how you want it to drive (just as you can from the touchscreen). I prefer almost all power going to the back tires as my real life car is a Mustang.... Just the feel I like.

Between the versions the R34 is my favorite in appearance. BUT it is what it is. It was meant to be a performance coupe... not an exotic race car (though it is still a VERY EXOTIC car here in the US because it never passed US emissions)... BEAUTIFUL design... But the GT-R still out-powers, out-handles and is outright a better car than the R34 **This is all stock of course ** (which was and still is a phenomenal car). But the GT-R is designed to be an Exotic Super Car... It IS NOT a "standard" car. It is Nissan's flagship... the same as the Ford GT, Chevy Corvette, Dodge Viper.... American and European cars almost always have a "Super Car".... Many dont see Asian cars as Super Cars but hands down the GTR is...

In the game, yeah... noobs love them... but just because you like them IMO doesnt make you a noob... its preference.... I like green cars, Joe likes blue and Sue likes Pink.... nothing wrong with that thats why we have options and selections.

BUT (here is the kicker) PD put WAY to many GT-Rs/Skylines in the game... There are tons of them and the game would be just as good with half of them... Same with the Miatas, RX-7s and a few others... That kinda made all of us get sick of them fast when every other car in the game feels like 1 of the same 5 cars..... Eventually being force fed the same things over and over you start loosing your taste for them. A smaller selection makes a "delicacy" that people would crave and enjoy more when they had it (if that makes any sense)

Very good points. Dont call people noobs because they love GTR. What about the ACR lovers are they noobs too? I see those more than GTR's. Im glad to here someone who promotes freedom.

"Hate" is a strong word.....saying you hate someone sounds kinda harsh right? I hate no one. Neither in GT5 nor in real life. I dont hate GTR haters, or X1 rammers, or people who call the Veyron a "Gayron".

You wrote this. It's a game, made for entertainment. People who hate in games should definately stop playing, throw their consoles and games away and start doing something beneficial. Otherwise, just ignore them like I do. It's not like they'll be there the next day......

I am a huge Skyline fan, although I don't like the R35. I do love the way it looks, I just dont like that it's so tech-filled. Doesnt require any skill to get it from 0-100km/h, just press a button and plant your foot and the computer does the rest.

As for your "Calling ACR drivers noobs", it is a helluva lot harder to drive a 1000hp RWD than it is to drive a 900hp R35.

Conclusion: R35 drivers are noobs.

The fact is GT-R's are made for people that can't drive. And in (real life) that's who buy them. Yes they are fast, but not a true "drivers car". Same goes for the Veyron. Fast, but way too easy to be fun.

My opinion, of course

A) That's not fact.
B) The biggest GT-R tuner here in the south seems to be quite a driver with several NHRA Sport Compact 3rd places finishes & an overall win in 2007.

I like it. I just don't think it should be treated like a noob car. I love R33's Im trying to tune mines to hang with a GTR but PD is hating. Lol. A noob car is a X1 period. It moves like lightning and stick to the track like glue. In real life it is probably very difficult to drive.

As far as it goes as a drag car, it dominates, get over. It was pretty much made to dominate off the line. Leave two untuned car of the same power, and the GTR probably would still dominate.

Valid research although I'm talking about In game titles. The R34 says R34 the R32 says R32 but the GTR says GTR. Wonder why?

Why is the Shelby Series One in the game called a Shelby Series One Supercharged when it is pretty clearly not the supercharged model? Does that mean that the car in the game is the supercharged model, even though it isn't?

In terms of the Skyline, they are genuinely pointless, seeing as they are slower than the GT-R.

They were also far, far cheaper. Both to purchase and to operate.

In all honestly, if I was at a drag event and someone rocked up in a 900+ hp R35, I'd call him a noob... Unless he had RWD converted it and ripped out all the computers so it was just a body, the engine, a gearbox and 4 wheels, nothing else to get in the way.
