Im really skrewed up.... the only time i race well is when im alone on the track... but then i get bored.
And the only time i really enjoy the game is when im jostling for position... but thats when my driving really, really really start's to get bad, i cant drive when I'm near other cars...

what am I gonna do..... u guys gotta help me :( :( :(

Hmm, try using a faster car than the competition, that way yu'll be out in front all the time, and if you start to get bored, you could lap them and start jostling around. :D

Been there done that, ive just gotta learn to use the proper racing line, instead of my own, oh and calm down to instead of chasing any car who passes me trying to kill it or at least inflict serious damage on them

Heh, I'm sometimes a victim of that. :D

Best thing to remember is to stay with 'em, hold your corner, and eventually you will catch them - they ALWAYS run wide on a lot of corners. ;)

Calming down is definitely the trick here I think. Try to follow a slower car for a lap without hitting it. Once you've done that, not only will you have forced yourself to calm down, but you'll also have more of a handle on the things that the AI does.

i can handle racing the AI, but in 2 player my kids have always been able to kill me, even though i can lap faster than them in single player...

I get jostled by the AI, too. The beginings of every race are a flippin' fiasco (slam crash bam) until the field spreads out a bit. But I also know it's not always my fault.

Ever notice how when you are following a car it slows down for a corner long before it needs to? But if the same car is following you it inevitably rear-ends you and ruins your turn?

In most races (10 laps or less) i will usually tune the gearing so im out in front of the feild by the first corner, and use the subsequent faster acceleration to gain ground in the corners even thought they slightly catch me on the straights. ;)
