Ok, here's why:
This past weekend, I decided to come out to Quincy, MA to visit my sister at college. Now, alot of bad things have been happening; My sister can't access her bank account (for whatever reason), my other sister who came with me lost the $60 my mother sent with her, and now, because of the snow, I can't go home! Me and my two sisters are stuck here at college, with no way of getting home until tomorrow. Now, this wouldn't be so bad, other than the fact that I left my PS2 at home. I'm so bored! Respond how you please. This is just me relieving the frustration in my head.

All I can say is that I agree,... I've been living in an area that avarages 90+ inches a year for my life of 25 years so far,.... I can't wait to get the F south.

Florida is full, stay home! ;)

FL - not until I'm 60

AZ - I'm not going from one extreme to the other,... thanx for the idea though,... looks like a nice place. :)

SC - Heard they have great golf, but I worry about racism in that particualar region of the country. Racism usually equals conservitive, conservitive equals,... well, I wont go on the charade.

I'm thinking about northern Texas or Oaklahoma. I really like the idea of Tennessee, but I think the winter long frosty ground could get annoying.

SO what do you other people think. Are you happy about your geographical location on this planet? Answer me this question,..... why would I want to move to your town?

I'm getting sick of seeing snow as well. I live smack dab in the middle of the Colorado Rockies. We average 330+ inches of snow a season. Seasons usually go from November to April. But it will snow before and after that time period. I remember one year we got 6" of snow on July 4th.

Why would you want to move to Vail Colorado................

1. If your a dirty hippy.
2. The 7 guy to 1 girl ratio.
3. Paying $2.01 per gallon of gas.
4. Going to the clubs and seeing the same thing and the same faces all the time.
5. You like having about 25% less power in your car.
6. Oh yeah, skiing or snowboarding.

:D

Lots of chicks who like to undress in public. Mild winters. Space to roam. Many geographies within a day trip's distance. Close to the Grand Canyon. Close to Mexico, for your, uh, every (illegal) need. Oh and I can't forget the four year drought.

You wouldn't wanna move here. Lots of horses and buggies to get in your way on busy highways. Lots of annoying tourists. Probably the only place where you can see an Amish man in a horse and buggy drive past you and then a drug deal ten minutes down the road.

I like where I live. We get an average of one day of snow a year, and that's enough. Mild winters, nice, hot summers, fresh smoke from the dozen or so wildfires that frequent this area (oops, I didn't just say that), plenty of truckers on the highway (quiet, Sage!), and lots of wildlife. :D

Nothing beats southern California... nothing, I say!

Well,... I have had numerous menonite and amish experiences. I work for a farm and turn industrial supply company, and venture into Michigan's amish country quite often (Montcalm County).

As for MA,... LOL,... dude,. we live at the same latitiude, of course I don't wanna move there, LOL.

Yeah,.. from what I hear,... a snow day out there is when they tell you to stay inside cause no one owns a winter jacket, lol.

"Pretty soon this place'll be filled up! Pretty soon we'll have to say, 'Guess what? There's no more room!' People'll be piled up on top of each other like they are in Australia!" - Good ol' quote from Vice City:D

Except Northern California.
Okay, who payed you to say that? :p
Southern California > Northern California, without a doubt. Have you ever been there? I mean, it's like, cold up there (50-60 degrees on average... that's practically freezing!)... sure, they have the Golden Gate Bridge, but I just love the weather here... Plus, we have L.A... how many people can say that?!?

Hey, it's just about true! Snow means no school, since half of the danged population here don't own chains for their cars (not that they need them anyway). Then again, your statement about winter jackets might be wrong... we wear those things when it dips below freezing (65 degrees Farenheit). :D

Come to Illinois. It's south of Michigan, and there's a chance you won't be trampled.

But a small chance.

I've been to San Diego and Magic Mountain. But I lived in San Francisco. I left my heart there.

My two half-sisters live in San Francisco, as do my two cousins and their spouses. :)

BTW, I only live about 20 miles north of Magic Mountain... in fact, you can see it from my school (Valencia High School... Magic Mountain Parkway is one of the most direct routes to my school)... when did you come?

(Just think... you could've visited me! :p)

Valencia has changed quite a bit in the past two years... businesses are springing up like crazy (the Valencia mall has its own little mini-city now... you can easily get lost in there). Did you ride Goliath, or was it not built back then?

Oh yeah! Goliath Rocked. I didn't get to ride them all because I just couldn't take any more. Goliath was last. The one that I didn't like was . . . the one where your feet hang. I didn't like that. the rest were cool, though.

Batman or Ninja something?

My favorite is Colosuess (however you spell that)... nothing like a big woodie. :D
