The H3 isn't for sale yet, they'll be hitting the market by the end of the year more then likely. It's basically a midsize SUV that's been Hummer-ized.

Yeah there's even a Saab version coming out... this is beginning to look like the W-Body disaster of the 80's

Blazin', I'm talking full-built rock crawlers with about the only thing stock is the door panel. I've seen it done to Tacomas so I figure, hey, an S10 is Chevy 👍

Do you mean the GMT360 platform and not the H3? It's not much of a disaster really, all the GMT360s are doing well, except possibly the Isuzu Ascender, but that's not GM's fault.

Would you agree that, factoring out depreciation, the Ascender is very easily the best of the bunch? Have you looked at the prices? Ascender starts lower and offers more stuff - including a longer warranty - than the base Trailblazer and Envoy.

That said, given everything wrong at Isuzu I don't blame people for choosing any of the other options.

I would be hesitant of buying an Ascender because just how much of the vehicle is GM parts? With the way Isuzu is looking (they've already left the Canadian market), their days appear numbered in terms of SUVs.

It's surprising that we actually have an Isuzu dealership here in the area. However it's also part of a Mercedes-Audi-Porsche dealership, so you'll never see an Isuzu out front along the street for anyone to see.

Most people don't know Isuzu exists, so the Ascender is doomed from the start. I'm surprised they even added the 5-passenger model, they were originally only going to sell the 7-passenger one.

I've only seen 2 Ascenders. Ever. And they're the ugliest of the GMT360 vehicles honestly.

Original plans called for both models. The 5-passenger was originally sacked after the piss sales of the 7-passenger, but Isuzu decided in order to be able to advertise a more full model line, the 5-passenger was necessary.

I've seen thirty or fourty, though never a five-passenger outside a dealer. I thought they'd ultimately become so rare that I began taking pictures of them when I first saw them, but they're recently doing better. The future looks less dim. Slightly less dim. Oddly in all the hurricane coverage today I saw one drive by behind a cameraman doing a live broadcast from a street - along with a red fourth-generation Supra. :D:tup:

I agree about the 7-passenger being the ugliest (far and away - the only comparison comes from the Envoy XUV but even it can't compete) but I personally believe the 5-passenger is the nicest-looking of the entire nine-product line, particularly in the lesser trim levels.
