Heh, yeah right.

Well I finally did it. 500,000 People are dead. One-half million. 27% of the population of Vice City gone. You can't help but be proud. :D

I'm pretty sure i'll now retire competitive playing of Vice City. I have done all that there is to be done, and then some.

Killing is my buisness, and buisness is good.

I only got something like 3,000-4000 kills. God I need to play more. Im hoping I can kill as much as the population of my town which is about 7,500-8,500.


That's easy for you to say Acidman. You probably like in a little township in the middle of nowhere. :rolleyes: At least I have a challenge.


But once again, congrats on wiping out nearly 1/3 of Vice City 👍

Congratulations Acidman,

I, for one, know the enormity of what you have accomplished--

I don't see me getting too close to 500,000--but I'm sure you will check in on me occasionally and see how I'm doing-- and keep me at a distance if I get too close for comfort.

Jesus christ that is a LOT of kills. Just how much time do you spend playing this game? It seems like way too much.
 
There's positively no way for me (or anybody) to surpass Acidman on his 500,000 corpses, but I would be willing to bet I've killed more aggressive drivers than he has. :D ;)
There should be a count for those too in the stats.

Speaking as (or anybody),

You forget who taught Acidman to Kill quickly and efficiently-- and from where I stand now it is possible for me to reach 500,000 kills-- I choose not to since if I did kill 500,000, then he would have to kill 600,000 and if I got 600,000, then he would get 700,000-- see the trend....

Because we both need to get on with our lives, I have chosen to stop killing (after I reach Godfather) for the sake of killing itself, however, I will continue to work on some of my other stats that do entail killing-- headshots, gangmembers wasted, etc.. but I've figured I will be at about 400,000-420,000 kills by the time I reach Godfather and so I will not end up approaching his record by boosting my other stats--

I don't want to stop playing as (unlike Acidman) I still like Vice City. :) -- but I am getting sick of killing--At least with the HUNTER.

See. I find it better to pull out a chromed shotgun, find someone with a bike, shoot him off, take his bike, proceed to to drive-by's with an Mp5, do that till you get up to 4 stars or so, the you can take it from there. I do that all it time, and still have time to watch Oprah.

He hasn't posted his final numbers but right around 500 hours of game play and about 7-8 months (although he has done about 300,000 kills since september)...I've been chasing him since July.

You kill 200,000 with that method and get back to me...

I didn't say it wasn't fun initially, but after you kill several hundred thousand people with the same method, it gets kind of old-- but it is the fastest method I've found and is several times faster then any other method, and about 1 1/2 times faster then doing Brown Thunder with a sweet spawning spot.

I don't know, I think if I went around all night in my Tank, I could pull it off the only thing is I might run out of Mountian Dew or dnL. By the way, I just finsished Need For Speed Underground, kick ass game.
 
You really need to time yourself before you make such statements-- its tough to kill more then 40 or 50/minute with the tank-- try it.

The best I've ever done (timed) is 140 kills in one minute (with the hunter using the above linked method)-- and it is very difficult to maintain.

200000/140 = 1428 minutes (for 200,000 kills)

1428/60 = 23.8 hours (for 200,000 kills)

I know. I've just been experimenting with diffrent killing methods and such.
 
yep at first but it gets easier with practice-- even now though, I killed about 2,000 last night, my hunter caught fire and Tommy wouldn't jump out----WASTED
 
If I added my my new game with my lost game then I'd have about 85,000 kills (55,000 + 30,000).

I just don't have the patience to just use the same method hour after hour to kills 100,000s of people.
