Now I don't have a lot of money to spend, and I'm thinking about buying a HDTV, therefore leaving me with less money to buy a wheel. Since a G25 is $300 or more and I can't find a G25 anywhere, would a DFGT be a good choice for me or should I save up the money for a G27?

I'm not a serious gamer to GT5 or any game, but I do want a wheel. Will the DFGT do the same good, add the same amount of precision as a G27? The features look cool, and Its a nice price on Amazon.

Thanks to anyone who answers and if nothing works, using a DS3 will still be fine. And if you know anywhere to find cheaper versions of these wheels, that will be nice to know as well.

The DFGT is what I have and I love it. I tried a G27 at a store once and as far as feedback and steering percision, they are close enough. The G27 is only necessary if you want the 6-speed, quiter force feedback, stronger pedal resistance, and better build materials. Since you label yourself as not a serious gamer, the DFGT should be perfect for you. Besides the six speed, the DFGT offers everything I want. It actually offers more in the way of buttons, so you can do more things straight from the wheel. You only need to bust out a controller for photo mode. I would not hesitate to recommend the DFGT, it really adds to the immersion.

Thanks man, I be sure to think and probably get a DFGT!👍

i love my DFGT. At times it would be nice to have a clutch, but that is not enough for me to spend the extra coin. I found the build quality of the DFGT to be good. If there is any complaints it would be noisy and not super smooth in regards to the force feedback resistance. But those issues are certainly not a big deal. If you not a serious gamer but wants a bit more realism and on a budget, i would definitely consider the DFGT.
