This is what I use, its a Scat ProCar Sportsman Seat, not as fancy as the Corbeau previously-mentioned by VetteZR1 but has lots of room, and is reclinable.

FYI: The rSeat frame is designed for seats that have side mounts (most racing seats do).
So this seat would not work with it because it mounts from the bottom.

However, the Playseat Evo seats mount from the bottom. So if you decide to retrofit a rig for different seat, verify the seat mounting scheme prior to selecting the seat.

There is thread here in the hardware section somewhere that is dedicated to after-market seats, cannot recall the title, seek and ye shall find.

I like that seat, I might just spend a little more and get this,

it has the same seat and I should have lots of room,
Thanks

Its the exact same seat. This company (Scat Enterprises) sells under different names.

Its good quality for the money, I have also been to their showroom in Redondo Beach, CA.

They also have a variation of the model with reinforced back, and dual-side recliner mechanism.

Its called the Sportsman Pro, but I thought it was just a tad too small for me at 6.2.

For detailed info including measurement specs see:

They want to much for shipping, it would be $900 shipped to me, so there out,

I'm realy interested in buying at least 2 seats from rseat but they don't reply to me anymore.I'm trying both Chat and Support Ticket.

I asked for estimated cost with shipment.I told them I may move to another city later on so I may ask for the estimated cost again so they don't think that I mean to waste their time later on.

I know the shipment to my country (Yemen) would be high but they shouldn't assume I will not pay for it.

Man some employees (Customer Service) receive their salary while they don't do their job. When I was working as a developer if I was a bit late at my work the manager immediatly thinks he should kick me out.I hope I get a manager like their manager!

Playseat.com customer service show a bit more cooperation with me.Their site shows me the estimated cost automatically without making any contact. But the problem is their product is the worst (steering wheel metal bar in the middle on the ground or under the seat).

Rseat looks the best seat I hope that I find something better but I couldn't until now.Especially that I want to use it with PS3 not PC.

Thank you for your reply. It looks like GT Omega Evo and that model has something I didn't like :The shifter holder is attached with the steering wheel base(coming from the front side).

Other than rseat the only products I like are the ones which have the shifter holder comes from the ground base.

Most important for me is the shifter holder position. It must be as much realistic as possible compared to real car driving. So if the shifter is too far from the driver I think it looks very bad.

Troysloth, no need for those strings to hold the rig from going away from you. this rig works on the same principal as the Bob Earl rig. Just drill thru the place where you want it to stay and the peg will go in the hole. It will hold it like steel and no strings. :)

Thanx Mayaman, I never thought of that but it makes perfect sense. I never did like having those straps there, but they work and that was all that mattered. I will get my drill out this weekend and mod it like you suggested. I think I might even have a pin laying around that would work perfectly. If not, I could also just drill all the way through from the side and put a bolt in which only has threads at the end where needed.
