Lying on the internet makes you look like a complete idiot. I don't see what your gaining by lying about anything.

Once you lie, people will struggle to believe anthing else you say.

TBH Orion, the confessions use have made arnt major and you have probably done more harm by blowing it out of proportion with this thread. If you didn't want to tell people stuff you didn't have to, nor did you have to lie instead... I don't think you have thought this through very much and posting with I have a HUGE confession is just going to stoke the fire...

If you have a deal with a certain member PM..

Thought it was something major like your actually KY! .... although I don't see him knowing about US bus routes!

I've, um, never even seen you before, so this is news to me. You probably haven't seen me either though.

And as others have stated, this is nothing compared to the insane life that Doug fabricated.

**We interrupt your normal programming to bring you this helpful tip**

Just for the record, GTPlanet nor the members on this site should be requesting or requiring personal information such as Social Security Numbers, physical addresses, or any other information that would allow *excuse the term* some freak to find you in real life. So do take digression in what information you are willing to give to complete strangers.....as of right now, there are 522 of them browsing this forum.

**Back to the topic at hand**

My age really isn't 18. My real age is 22. I have a habit of lying about my age on forums, I don't know why. But I did prove to James that I was 22 years old with the pictures I took in 2004 that showed me when I was 18 on New Years. I don't know how he found out when the picture was taken though. He also found out the picture was taken at 12:01AM.

My birthday is the same, but the year is different. (12/30/85)

Wait...you're...older than you said you were? Something's wrong with that sentence...

To be honest it doesn't bother me, seeing that I've never believed a word you've said anyway. It doesn't take a genius to realise that a 17 year old illegally driving a bus on behalf of his uncle is... shall we say, somewhat unlikely. Or that someone that "hates" his job so much would have such a pronounced public transport fetish. Or that bus drivers themselves (particularly "illegal" ones) have enough cash lying around to purchase advertising space on the back of New York busses. Or that a 10 minute Photoshop job will convince anyone that you've succeeded in such a task.

So, yes, consider yourself "forgiven", if that's what you're looking for. I don't bear much hate or even mild dislike towards liars who own up (particularly for such trivial lies as these), but you're going to have to prove a lot more than just your age before I'll take any notice of you. But hey, I'm sure we'll live quite happily without each other's respect.

In a some what off-topic question, did Doug create a confession thread? I'd love to see it. I remember I was gone for a year and Doug had gone from being some successful business guy with several nice cars to a high schooler or something with his parents Mazda Tribute.

I was like... "Eh????"

What was the point in lying about your age anyway?

Nothing's wrong with being 22...

Maybe not a confession, but it should clear up some things for people who have found it odd that a 17-18 is driving a bus in NYC. I can sort of vouch for his validity because over MSN he's been able to prove to me that he is older and he also explained how G.T. figured out his age.
Well, I didn't directly figure it out. McLaren pretty much done that when he said it wasn't possible for him to drive a bus in NYC at that age.

I'm agreeing with what others - particularly Touring Mars - have just said. I have no reason to believe you're not a driver, but you still haven't shown us any concrete proof. Until then I'll always wonder if you actually are.

At least you're thinking a bit more before you post now, rather than getting mixed up in a twist of lies. And trust me, it's happened here many, many times before when someone has lied, they were caught out after a bit of investigation and pounced apon. You don't want to be in that situation here.

Back when I was new to DeviantART, one of the people I watched confessed that they were, in fact, a female, despite an obviously male screenname. This is kind of the same, no real big deal.

I thought Icanhazaccount? was familiar... Seemed like he knew this place. And Orion, you talk like a 12year old, and have the brain of a 12year old, but you're in the body of a 22year old
Man screw you.

Are you serious? He drives a public bus. Telling you what he does and what route he's on is no different than giving the world your address and when to show up.

Lying about your age is kind of pointless in this situation, but I would certainly expect him to keep his business confidential.
Well considering the route runs every 4-7 minutes and spans over 100 blocks, runs all day and night, and the fact there are 2 different Bx41 routes, it would be pretty tough to see me. Especially counting how many buses are on this route too. Takes 60-75 minutes a trip (excluding the break after each trip) too. Also I never told the time I worked... So it's not anywhere near the same. An address is way more easier to find, especially on google maps.

Sharky.

I don't know, but I am done with lying about my age.

Nah I'm really 23 years old.

Just kidding.

Or to put it more accurately, you are between 0 and 100 years old, with your next birthday being sometime this year. :D

Still, why take the chance of some crazy lunatic like Brett throwing a hatchet into one of your fellow drivers' or your face.

When I read the thread tittle, I thought this dude was coming out of the closet lmao. But Orion, you did a pretty good job at posting like a 17 year.. no, mind me, 13 year old kid; you really got us right there, but like others have said, I never bought your crap about driving a bus at 17. If I wanted to and if I would have been a creep, I would have easily tracked you down, since I did live in NYC almost all my life until recently that I moved away.

Not a big deal though.

As I said in that other thread, it must be confession week, everyone make posts to get stuff off their chest!

I have a confession too.

I'm actually Tupac.
So that's how you've made more albums and movies as a dead man than an alive one.

Say hi to Elvis and Johnny Cash for me.
