What would be a good car that has very good acceleration and handling, top speed is not so important

I take it that your pretty new to the game...with that in mind your probably looking for a first car...

see this guide and it will help!

and oh yeah...WELCOME TO GTPLANET.NET :)

hmm...that's odd...there used to be a really good "Getting Started" guide and it told you what car to buy, tuning tips, and racing help, but it is NOT here....for now at least...

If it is a first car you are looking for, pick up a Mitsu. Lancer EvoVI RS.
This bad boy will give you good acceleration, handling, and top speed in the early stages of the game. For all around value/cost effectiveness this is a great buy IMO. Hope this helps.

Or if you can save up for the Evo 7 it carryed me for a long while ^_^

If he's talking about his VERY FIRST car that would be too expensive but it's a great 2nd car (it was my 2nd actually).

I just bought the Lancer Evo VII GSR T.M.E and i have to say it rocks. Problem is controller is a bit screwed and half the time i think im accelerating and im not pressing the X button hard enough for it to register

Toyota Yaris RS 1.5 (not the Euro Edition) is quite a good starter car,it has it's own race series where you can make upwards of 35,000 credits for the series.Just a shame it's hated here ....if you decide to buy it,don't get it in pink

Is this question for the beginning of the game?
