I have an odd problem... (gt2 Hybrid)

Well, I bought a Nissan 240SX Q's Aero and put a Saleen S7 engine in it, made it four wheel drive, and put the transmission out of the Cerbera LM in it. Well, its great until it hits 6th gear, then it like drops into neutral and you have to his the reverse button to get it to go forward again. Anyone know why its doing this?
 
Go to the settings menu and go to the tranmission tuner (in the game). If there arent any lines just move the autoset up one then move it back. If that isnt it I wouldnt know...
 
Yes, the tranny swaps in GT2 were always troublesome at best, even more so than in GT3. The problem U describe usually occured when a tranny adjustment was attempted after doing a swap. As a general rule, it was always easiest just to buy the tranny in the game, but if U really want a tranny from a different car, and want it to be adjustable, I believe U have to change the name of the car to that of whatever the tranny is from, and leave it that way in order for it to be adjustable, or at least until U are done adjusting it. It's been a while since i did a tranny swap in GT2, so I may be forgeting something.
 
yep, that will happen as well, I think maybe from putting a 6 or 7 speed in a car that U can't buy one for in the game, but again my memory is a bit fuzzy on this. U can Use This Method to install the tranny U want, just make sure to make all your tranny adjustments before U put the original body and name back on the car.
