OP I somewhat agree with you man, I'm sick of all these bugs, PD taking FOREVER to have DLC, and its funny you bring up the SPA track too. All in all PD has really been a joke man, I don't care how everyone tries to hide it. So many flaws in a 6 year package!

I will switch back and forth to GT5 and Forza4. Maybe when PD gets their act together (most likely never, lol) then I might play GT5 more but until then. I'll just play Forza or have some fun with BF3 or even Skyrim.

I resumed 5 times during the MX-5 eundro and i never got this bug.

It seems this bug only hits people that plow through pit lane at high speeds.

I entered the pits with 10km/h and then suspended. But it didnt help. Because when resuming the car was much faster than the 10km/h.

The fact of the matter is that PD for the last 19 years (according to Wiki, Kaz started on GT1 in 92) have been concentrating pretty much exclusively on the GT series, and it begs the question "how the fudge can they still be so bad at some of the core elements of the game"? I know a lot of people defend the game, and I am by no means saying that I don't enjoy the game myself, I do. But I just keep to the aspects I think is fun (mainly online).
But my point is, that a majority of the people who blindly defend the game, probably wouldn't be as patient if it was any other game that took 6 years do develop, and was as flawed as GT5 is/was! You do PD no favours by praising the game tirelessly and ignoring the things that obvisouly doesn't work.

The OP does make some valid points whether you like it or not. However there really is no reason to make yet another new thread about it, there are more than enough places to vent this kind of frustation :-)

Hmm... Which games do you mean? If you mean Shift, Grid, Ferrari Challenge and/or Dirt, then I agree with you. However, Forza is a pretty decent rival and could probably easily replace GT5 for some people by now (I haven't played FM4 yet so I don't know if what I just said is true), then there's rFactor, GTR2, Race 07, GT Legends and so on which are far, far better simulations.

I bought Race 07 not long ago for £4 or 5 and it very nearly made me give up on GT5 on the strength of the sounds, physics and force feedback feel alone. Then there's the hundreds of free mods on top of that... I'd always wanted to drive an N2 AE86, I had hoped GT5 would have been the sim to let me do that, but in the end it was a £5 sim from four years ago plus a free mod.

The lack of variation in the cars is what brought me back to GT5, but I still play (use?) Race regularly. My point being you may end up doing the exact opposite of appreciating GT5 depending on what you choose to play instead. The update has made me love GT5 again, though.

Disappointing reading the replies on this thread. Here we have a genuine GT fan who is rightfully expressing his disappointment with GT5. You might not agree with him but he is entitled to his opinion.

I can certainly relate to this because I gave up with GT5 many months. Nobody was a greater GT fan than me but I came to the conclusion that something seriously went wrong with the development of GT5. I still actually believe GT5P was a better overall game because at least it had time trial leaderboards and online matchmaking.

Anyone who tries FM4 will think they have jumped into a timewarp and advanced 10yrs. This is a much more modern racing game and this is especially true with regards to its online features.

Just add one of the other reasons im angry is because after playing GT5P I purchased a brand new G25/Wheelstand Pro and I kept these boxed until GT5 was released. I only used these for two months such was my disappointment with GT5. So I wasted £300 and now my only option is to sell these at a loss!

The fully support of the G27/G25 for GT5 is comming, so I bet Logitech can't deliver enough the next time. You should get a good deal on ebay for it. 👍

Played Forza 4, felt the same as 3 to me. Granted they were both store copies and in total I've only played 4 for about half an hour, and 3 for a few hours at a mates house, and I would still buy it if I had the money for an xbox and game.
