I have one for everyone, what the hell is with the enduro of the miatas.

That is in there for a challenge I suppose. I remember restrictions on enduros in GT2, but it was horsepower, not vehicle (Don't quote me on that). I haven't touched it yet, but I am not looking forward to that one or the Mistrel 78 laps. I don't think the others are too bad, but I will find out soon enough.

Also, I will be updating my status as it changes ever-so-quickly.

the other endurences take forever like the tokyo one is almost 2 and 1/2 hours long. and then the two 2 hour races which take 2 hours cause its counting how many laps you can do in 2 hours.

it's not really about the miata. It is more of a race of skill and finding the right line to follow around the course. I loved it, it was the only enduro where I had a challange.

You have to use superslick tires so you can still run when they are in the pit. You should easily beat them with superslick tires if you pit once between 20-25 laps.

I loved that one at least in this one you can buy a nice car and drive it, i used the vett but the miatas just plain SUCK!! :balloon:

I am finishing Polyphony Digital Cup (professional) with a Corvette Z06 with super slick tires... and I am really inclined to get it to the Trial Mountain endurance

try using the rug 911 you will kick some serious ass, is a really good car i used it for the poly series. loved every race. :odd:

What don't you like about it? The Miata is a roadracing natural - small, light, wonderful handling. In fact if I had a real one of my own, I'd like nothing better than the chance to drive it around a track like Apricot Hill for 40 or 50 laps.

It took me about 70 minutes, and it was fun the whole time. I won handily but it was by no means a sure thing until around 30 laps. The only disappointment was winning a third Miata as a prize; but that's typical in GT3.

Not to put anyone in particular down, but you guys seem to think that racing is all about horsepower and raw speed. It's really much more than that. Take a step back and ponder this while you're running the Spec Miata race. Racing is all about coaxing the maximum you can get out of whatever you're driving, whether it's a Mini or a Miata or an M3. Small, lower-powered cars reward smoothness and momentum. If you have a point-and-squirt driving style, this is your chance for a little zen lapping. Use it well, grasshopper.

I actually really enjoyed that race - I have the Logitech wheel, and the Miata is really fun to drive with the wheel, great feel.

Aside from the feel of the car, the Miata also makes its superhard tyres last for ages, so I really concentrated on chipping away at lap times and optimising braking points, turn in, that sort of stuff. The laps passed by quite quickly.

neon_duke's comments are right. Why are so many people obsessed with monster horsepower? Focussing on the 800hp+ cars really does narrow the focus of the game.

Ok how about a race with the Fiat turbo instead, Im not talking about power I just dont like that car. Or a race with stock clio. some car thats attractive.

The Trial Mountain endurance race also has restrictions. I didn't think the Miata ER was half as bad as the Pro Vitz series. I thought I'd pull my eyes out by the end of that interminable mess.
