I just downloaded a PS1 game!!!

My first one, from PSN of course. Resident Evil Director's Cut, now available on the Euro PSN store.👍

Don't like certain things, the game does not run in 60HZ, not full screen either but with the smoothing option on it looks considerably better than it did on a PS1. Also no analogue control as in the original PS1 version of this game, which sucks because the US dual shock version did have analogue control.

Still, I get to shoot zombies in the face without having to unpack my PS1, I think that RE2 & 3 are coming to PSN soon as well so will have to buy them as well.

Classic game. Never played the directors cut though had to make do with manual aiming on the PSX

I bought it too. I already had the original Platinum version of Resident Evil but I wanted this because of the extra game modes which comes with Director's Cut and now I never have to care about inserting the old disc again. The PSN blog has already hinted that Resident Evil 2 is coming to EU soon so Resident Evil 3 will probably come too.

On top of that Capcom is making HD versions of Resident Evil Code Veronica X and Resident Evil 4 which will be released on PSN later this year. So that basically means that the main series of Resident Evil (except Zero for Nintendo) will be playable on every PS3 model.

Yer it's great, I made myself a US account today, bought a $10 PSN card from Ebay and am downloading RE3 Nemesis right now. Heck of a lot cheaper $5.99 than it will be from Euro PSN, when I can get another voucher i'll get a $20 one and buy RE2 and the US version of the director's cut which I know is the dual shock version.

Also really need to buy Alundra too, that game is epic!!!!!!

Heh, couldn't wait so bought another $10 voucher, am downloading RE2 DSV right now. Wanted to get RE1 DSV at the same time but that one is $9.99 on the US PSN so will have to wait, have enough left in wallet to get Medal Of Honor though.
