I just got NFS Shift!!

Along with DiRT 2. This game is uncomparable to any other racing game. I doesnt feel like Grid nor Granturismo.

Quick info about controls : You can modify your control just like in RacePro (pedals sense/speed sense/etc)
You can turn auto clutch on/off.
You can modify steer lock (Drift ftw).


The reason I love this game is you can recover fast.

Are you racing the pro physics mode? Is it realistic? More importantly, is it fun (the physics)?
 
Can you give us a list of the online race options. more importantly what you can select in private lobby. on unranked game.
 
Could you get some info/screenshots of the options avalaible in the menu's

Sound, can I adjust things seperately, tire squeal/engine/other cars for example

Video-->Advanced if there is such an option :P Something like, look to apex/Gforce simulation/world movement (as they were called in their older games) are they adjustable.



No hurry, enjoy the game first, I would do that to :)

I got it from a small store in Dubai. I asked him about Demon's souls and he said he'll bring it next week. (wtf ??)

I've never tried the other modes. anyway .. the physics .. I don't know how to explain but if you floor the brake you will lose control. I think I need to tweak control sensitivity to make more comfortable.

I'll try to upload a video. stay tuned.
 
I'm getting NFS:Shift now from "the internet". I will try it on my 360, and if I like it, I will buy it for the PS3 to play it with the G25.

Love to have a more detailed review from you marmar! It's all about the physics! For now whe know nothing, and it can be either way with them.
 
I won't be able to play it before monday, because tonight and tommorow i'll be away(work). Maybe sunday night.

I'm very interested in graphics performance on PS3:
Are there slowdowns?
Is there tearing?

Has it a LAN multiplayer as expected?

slowdowns ? you mean FPS loss during corners ? no

there is no tearing

The game is wow !

so far i really like it !!

Guys I hope you gave us more detailed info...

How are the physics in compare (compareison?) to GT5P,Supercar chellenge,GTR2?

Does it feel real? or between sim and arcade? how is the online mode?

I have to apologize. but I cannot upload this +16min video to Youtube or other than that (Metacafe/Vimeo) due to slow internet connection, however, you can go to Virtualr and search for that Datsun pro mode game play.

I wasn't referring to anyone.

Im just pointing out that some people get access to games early via downloading from torrents. I think someone on this thread already said they were downloading it!

Actually post No9 said they were getting this from the internet.

Dont think there is anything wrong with checking out if the game good. He/She also stated to buy it if its good.

My self i will wait for an demo - release. will not buy a NFS game without trying it first. Not wanting to throw away 65 euro's ;)
