Today my pet, Peitchen (Pete) lost his life to a illness he overcame already twice.
He had a good life, lived inside the living room, got every treat possible, and enjoyed them.
During summertime, he could run outside freely and really loved that.
He loved chips, rasins, marshmellows.
But 2 weeks ago, he caught the rabbit illness again (EC) and fought for 2 weeks. This morning he was really bad, so I made the decision to relieve him of his suffering as this time he would not overcome the illness.
He was a great pet and fellow.
i will miss him sincerely

RIP little buddy

Its tough lossing a pet. You never think you'll miss them as much as you do :(

Sorry to hear about Pete ;(

Sorry to hear that ibo. Its always sad when you lose a pet. RIP pete.

Really sorry for your loss :(

You did the right thing, seeing as he was suffering. Take solace in that, yet it is never easy to lose a family member.

May he rest in peace.

Im sorry for your loss. It seems like you looked after him lovingly though. Just think about it, he/she had a far better life than most other rabbits out there.

Very sorry to hear that man, I know how you feel after losing your beloved companion because I've had the same feeling after my parakeet died of disorder of digestive organ a couple of years ago... Great condolences.

Sorry to hear this mate. You've been great to him and surely he's been great to you too. You've done what you're supposed to do but yeah it's a shame. Sometimes pet can be one of our most closest friend and sometimes he/she is part of the family members. May he rest in peace :(

I've lost my pet too once, a Hamster so I feel what you feel but life must goes on.

My deepest condolences :(

My dog dies when i was on holiday, Never got too say bye to him properly :( At least your rabbit did not suffer and enjoyed the life he had so don't mourn his death, celebrate his life and how he enjoyed it :)

R.I.P Pete

Thanks to every single one of you.

And yes he was a friend and a family member, and having rabbits for more than 20 years, this one was the nicest i had. He always licked, always thankful.
Awesome little guy.

My dad took him to the vet as I had an appointement with a client all afternoon, which was good as it gave me other ideas. Though it was sad not beeing with him till the last minute, but it would be heartbreaking seeing him getting a seringe right into the heart.

Tomorrow I go to bury him like he deserved.

RIP to your pet and I pass on my condolences to you. Keep him in your memories, as they last forever.

I'm really sad to hear about your loss. You did the best you could do for him. I'm sure he appreciated it.

R.I.P. Peitchen.

I'm sorry about your loss. I don't even want to imagine what it'll be like when my dogs die.

R.I.P

It's not a pet you lost, it's a member of the family. Anyone who has lost a pet know this. Celebrate his life. He is in bunny heaven now.

Sorry for your loss, its never easy loosing a pet. Some people just dont understand but they are like your family.
It was going to happen sooner or later but take comfort in knowing you treated him right and that he had a good life...

It is very hard losing a pet. I lost my dog when I was younger (have gotten a new one since that I love, but it will never be the same) and he passed away, from I think kidney failure, but he had a habit of annoying the neighbors, so my family thinks someone may have done something to him...I thought it was my fault for being so young but I balled my eyes out for days...Very sorry to hear about your loss.
