I agree that it is very annoying and we do need to be very vocal about annoyances so that maybe word will find its way back to Polyphony and maybe, just maybe, they might eventually get around to fixing it. The fact of the matter is that it's very retarded to have to acknowledge that we're not connected to PSN several consecutive times every single time we go to play the game. Once should be enough.

PD has a thing for pointless & annoying prompts, my theory is that they just love hacking off thier fanbase. Now I come to think of it, PD likes pointless & annoying things in general, go figure!

If your saying unplugging the ethernet cord to sign back in, no that wouldn't work because the whole PSN is down due to and external intrusion, so its down for the whole world at the moment.
 
I have never gotten a pop-up message, let alone get annoyed by the game.
