I never knew there was such a thing...is there?

I know for the PC version there is a program out now called gtaT which allows you to play online against like 8 other players in the same city. But that's still in the Alpha testing

Well not for the PS2 there is no way to play multiplayer Vice City

You can also batle people from around the world if you get a network adapter. I have one. I'm enjoying Twisted Metal :Black Online.

Yeah. There's no iLink for the GTA series.

there is a way of playing 2 or even more players on vice city you need the i link cable if your playing with 2 players you need two televisions two playstations and to copys of vice city.
My mate has tried it at this gaming fair he went to he said it was brilliant you can do jobs together and kill each other.

You need the Multiplayer mod in Vice City to do that. And you can only mod the PC version.
