Quality products? What are you smoking? Most of the drifter market revolves around importing from Japan, where the art is respected and isn't just considered "goofing off." The only markets drifters have here were created by their own (admitably small) collective interest, mostly organized through forums like Club 4AG, companies like Battle Version and Techno Toy Tuning. Hype inflates the market too, yes, but that doesn't always mean the products get better. The only thing that increases overall product quality is a knowledgable consumer base, which means REAL drifters. Change is unprofitable, companies will only improve their products if they must in order to sell them, and that is not the market that hype creates.

I never knew Keiichi Tsuchiya competed in Formula 1 and I highly doubt he ever did huge ass exibition drifts to win races in the JGTC either.

Well unless you meant the D1 GP (or whatever the competitions called), but then that sentence would make no sense whatsoever, because everyone drifts in it.

I apologized for the "fricking". As to why I said this is funny, reading the thread-starter's post was mainly the reason. Maybe I should've said "this guy is hilarious", rather than "this thread is hilarious", but then I'm doing alot right now (scanning stuff for a client's website) so forgive the slip. Now I don't even know why I'm explaining myself. Anyways, that answer your question?

First off, the car will be **** after 60K mil under that hood... and after 100K it won't be able to leave your drive way... and you are probably racing the 1970 supposed "muscle" cars, but in fact THEY ALL SUCKED!!! Mainly cause thats when all the save the world hippies made a difference (they crew up and made things... cars blah blah blah) so they had all these fuel admissions crap put on all these 454's and what not...

To prove it... my ex-car (1997 3.0CL w/147HP to the wheel) beat a Camero w/ the 454 in it... and it was a 1976... (on the track!)
