I need a little help locating a book.

So I just got reminded of a book I'd been wanting to read for quite a while. Only problem is I don't remember the name of it. I only remember a few details about it.

It involved Space, Football, Mutants[I think], and Aliens[I think].
It used to be podcasted by the author.

Anyone think they know it?
