k thanks for the tip.
rsmithdriftSo, I have absolutely no prob mixing tires. Although if you can do it with same Front and rear that's different. And I always want the most grip I can possibly get away with and still be able to drift well. (Never go above Sport Hard) Because you can get better drive out of the corners and keep your speed better while on the throttle drifting. Not to mention that it gives better control.
i have to agree, IRL most drifters mix because they are broke, or cant afford performance tires to burn off every weekend. only tire sponsored guys can afford to burn up top quality rubber, or thoes that can afford, and want to buy top quality tires. im sure it has its benefits, but for the weekend drifter, its just not worth it to put good rubber on the back.SwiftIRL, it makes sense. Especially financially. However in GT4 it really doesn't. The way the physics model is setup, you actual hurt more then you fix. Except in certain cases with AWD's. But you'll have to ask DR about those.

Delphic ReasonMixing tires should be a last option... Not the best tool for learning...
N1's or N2's all around is just fine...
