I need some drifting help...

Okay so I'm new to the GT series, I was drifting on forza for quite some time and just transferred to this, I can initiate the drift,hold it for a while and all that, but some times when i counter steer my car whips the way i counter steer and spins me right around or puts me into a wall, can I get any advice?

Hi man, seen you round fm.net..

the snapping happens to everyone in the beginning. You probably use a wheel right? The "snap" is actually already the transition into the next (other direction) drift. This is caused by too much countersteer.

Try to increase the countersteer in little amounts so the wheel keeps pulling. when you want to get out of the drift; pull the wheel into the neutral position.

You can also let the wheel spin into countersteer but you have to agressivly steer into the corner again straight after.

Nahhh i use the controller, im getting a little better at get taking the snap out of it im gassing to much when i try to transition, im trying to do everything like i did on forza lol. I do have a mic, but im going to new york for xmas with the family, so i will add you when i get back
