I'd do the Acura, for two reasons.
1. The new NSX was revealed with an Acura badge, though obviously that's just badge engineering for the NAIAS, it's still technically an Acura.
2. The new NSX isn't the new NSX-R, which will follow (hopefully) (and how), but to me it would make more sense to compare it to the non-R NSX.
On both counts it's very shaky logic, but logic all the same.
The multi-car shoot is a nice idea, though. If it were me, I'd have:
NA1 NSX
NA1 NSX-R
NA2 NSX
NA2 NSX Type S and/or Type S Zero
NA2 NSX-R
Maybe the fictional PD NSX-R GT LM Race, Road and RM cars
One or two Super GT cars.
Oh and the new one. That would pretty much cover the entire history of the model, I think. There was a really good episode of Best Motoring International that compared the NA2 -R with the NA2 Type S Zero (can't remember if there was a such thing as the NA1 NSX Type S Zero or not), NA2 and NA1 -R. Funny thing is, the later -R was slower in a drag race than the NA1 -R, which in turn was slower than the Type S Zero, but they more than made up for it on the track.
I need to go and watch that now.
