As some of you knows, I've been thinking alot about going back to school and finish my high-school to get my diploma. I was hesitating alot, thinking about ambitions, motivitations, and what I want to do in my life. Learning the life's lessons at full speed, I realized that I needed to make a choice and to force myself so I could stop acting like a dumass, be mature and take control of my life once and for all.

I now know what I want to be !

I figured out that I really love playing guitar (which I was not sure, hesitating between drum or guitar), and was checking some pictures on the Jackson's Guitar official website. I saw the pictures of the place where the guys are building the guitars and and thought it was really cool. I didnt thought about it first, but than the light just been so bright up my head I was shocked, I want to be a luthier. I want to build guitars !!!!

I also found out that becoming a luthier will mix up 2 things that I like. I like working with wood, and I like music. Both are combine in one job, building guitars !!!!!

I wanted to thanks those here on GTP who made me think alot about it (Blake helped me alot), which gave me suggestions and things like that. I really appreciated your help. :)

Now, all that does matter is, I will get back to school this summer, and work the **** out of my ass :)

Thanks guys :)

Wow I've never thought about that job. That would be a kickass job to have and you could possibly get discounts on guitars.

Good job findin what you want to do dude.

Congratulations.

I've been thinking about going back to college and doing a part time course on car mechanics to satisfy my desire to learn about car's.

Anyway, good luck, and I hope it works out for you.

I see... I hope you guys have fun making fun of this lol ;)

Sorry, couldn't help it! (look up 'Finbar Saunders' for the fnar, fnar meaning)

I hope you do get to become a guitar maker, it would be a great job for a guitar fan. Would you lean towards classical or electric?

Dude! That's awsome! I'm thinking about being that too, but I don' really know how to. :indiff:

Anyways, if you feel like you can send a guitar to me. *angel*

Good choice of profession! I wanted to be the same thing.... Life delt other options though, now I fix computers and count beans for a living. Working with wood, making instruments sounds a lot more rewarding!

Glad to hear your planning on getting back to school. Glad to hear to plan on sticking it out, it will pay off in the end.
