I overslept & didn't do the procedure correctly.

Still not seeing the problem? Are you saying trying to reduce your amount of hours you sleep regularly from 12 down to 8 but failed to do so?

Not even sure why you'd want such a strict sleep schedule.

Are you sure you are in Croatia ??

how could anyone be jetlag by one hour ??

How sure are you about your destination ??
but one thing is for sure:
Your sleep disorder is affecting your communication skills !

Please stop all interactions with the locals, wherever you might be....
close your eyes and imagine you are back in the UK,
this might help you....

you might simply be home sick, or just car sick from such a long driving distance...
which is aggravated by the fact that you are so used to driving Virtually on GT,
so now you have lost all notions and experience of driving a real car ...

I must not have adjusted to the time zone. It's GMT + 1 hour here.

It's GMT +1 in the UK. In Croatia right now it's CEST - GMT +2.

You shouldn't get jetlag (circadian dysrhythmia) from that. Also, I have no idea what "the procedure" you're talking about to combat this jetlag you shouldn't have is.

If he is driving a long way then advice from the look of this thread is don't drink and drive.

I'm still trying to figure out what "procedure" he's talking about.

Probably trying to eliminate jetlag and now he's worried his schedule for the day or whatever will be wrong.

No i am saying i wanted to reduced it from 12 hours to 11 and a half hours, for probably 7 days. Then reduce it by another 30 mins, the following week and so on until the weeks go by and i reach the 8 hours. But i reduced it from 12 hours to 8 hours in one fell swoop, now do you see my problem ?.

So start at 11 and a half hours and forget it happened. Not hard.

You sleep 12 hours every night? Does your diet consist of nothing but pulled pork and glazed donuts?

Why were you sleeping for 12 hours? Why were you reducing it by half an hour a night until you got to 8 hours? How is this supposed to help with one hour of timezone differences that shouldn't give you jetlag anyway?

You're making no sense to anyone.

So wait, you did what you wanted to do quicker than you planned on doing it? What's the problem exactly?

I see. Why are you worried about it though?

I don't want any health problems from it, if i can't get it sorted.I have enough as it is at the moment.

Wait did your doctor or something give you a sleeping schedule to follow or something? I know my dad got one for a sleeping disorder.

From what?

You need to explain what the boggle is considerably better than you've done so to this point. So far you've said you needed to sleep 12 hours a night then reduce it by half an hour a night (for no reason), and that you're in Croatia rather than Stoke. None of this makes any sense.

The "recommended" amount of sleep is typically 7-9 hours per night.

How you're managing to sleep 12 hours, each and every night, is beyond me anyhow. I can count on one hand the number of times I've slept more than 10 hours in a night in the last 20 years. I can't imagine doing it every single night.

It sounds as if you may need to seek medical attention to understand if you have other underlying issues, such as a Thyroid disorder. That's just one particular issue commonly associated with your body telling you it needs that amount of sleep.

I've only been sleeping for that length of time for about a week. What messed my sleeping hours up was, loading everything up the same day i departed ( at night ).Got a rough 4 hour sleep at Dover ( about 1 o clock in the morning ), and didn't sleep at all on the P&O ferry.Nor did i sleep during the night.Dopey here was playing his mp3 player on the ferry. It takes us 2 days to get into Croatia, so i slept during the day and probably through the night too.

And the reason for these sleep patterns is...?

No-one knows what you're talking about. As things stand, this thread is gibberish (not helped by some extremely odd syntax) and that'll only go one way.

Happiness-Quotes-Presence-Of-A-New-Day.jpg

you can start all over again, you are not stuck one way or another...

how was your sleeping pattern been when you were in the UK ??

did you really sleep exactly 12h each day?
did you really sleep and wake up at exactly the same time, same hour, same minute, same second ??

are you a robot ?
