Troy, u CANT turn TCS/ASM off on Time Trial Mode. U can practice with them off from the settings menu.
And about tips Here they are:
-First turn is critical, brake early till mid 60's and pass it over the curve without hitting the sand.
-Those deadly S turns, u have to pass them by 100 mph, no less.
-The 90 degrees turn, u have to pass them with 2nd gear by 50 mph , no braking , just deaccelerating.
-The set of spiral turns is the hardest thing to me. When they indicate u to go on 1st gear, do it. Dont even think about gaining time on 2nd gear. Ur car with go on low revs and u will get off the track if u accelerate more.
-Take ur time, press the accelerator gently by the speed indicated. U should be exiting the last turn on the 4th gear.
-Just before the first slalom turn, u would notice that u begin to slow down. Dont even try to accelerate more. If u do, u will end up on the other side of the road.
-U have to pass them with 100mph, no less.
-Just after exiting the slalom, the tachometer will recommend u to be braking and shifting to 2nd gear. Dont be fooled, just go straight with 4th gear. Soon, u will see a turn. JUST THERE , u have to shift to 2nd gear.
-After this, it is all easy.
-Oh, now that I forget. Just before the oval turn, u will meet a very sharp turn , like the 90 degrees one. U should have already braked early, cuz a late brake wont stop u from hitting the grass. This has been one of the most frustrating curves to me. Many perfect laps on Complex String have been many times screwed thanks to this sharp turn.
