I finally got around to building the super Murcielago earlier this afternoon to be quicker than the tuned Z06 i currently drag race online... and guess what happened? The Z06 SLAUGHTERED the Murcielago at the top end.. and judging by the way the murci felt down low, the Z06 wouldve at least been equal at about 120 mph, probably started to take the lead inches at a time up to 170 mph.. then totally destroyed it from there on out (i did not drag race the two cars directly, but ive driven the Z06 so many times i know exactly how hard it pulls when it accelerates.. the lambo definitely felt a bit slower.. then it ran out of breath at 200.. at least compared to the Z06.. which hauls at that speed).. and somehow, the Vette always manages to be faster than i remember accelerationwise. it was not even close either.. ive gotten the Z06 up to 243 mph under its own power.. the Murci had trouble cracking 224... hell my 2004 Z06.. which is 130 horsepower DOWN on that car, would even smoke it down the Mulsanne, ive gotten 234 out of that one at least (i havent driven it in a while.. but i do remember it cracking pretty good into the 230s) testament to the insanity of the Corvette? Or idiot mistake with the Lambo? This is the second time ive tried to develop a car to be quicker than the 2006 Z06 and the second time the Z06 tore the newer car another 🤬...(the last one was a GT-R Spec V) its getting annoying! Especially because the cost of the brand new murcielago and accompanying parts topped $700,000... :banghead: admittedly the car looks SICK tho, and sounds pretty insane as well.. it just isnt capable of what i wanted it to do..

What do you guys recommend? Let it break in? The lambo i tuned was brand new straight from the dealer no switches until i modded it.. while the Corvette is pretty worn in.. or is the Lambo never gonna catch it? The two cars have identical power at the moment sitting at 849 horses for the lambo and i think it was 846 for the vette

Try a real wheel drive vehicle, maybe Viper ACR or an AMG? I think AWD cars will be a tad heaver and there is more power loss on the drivetrain as compared to a rear wheel drive vehicle.
 
True.. i did not consider that.. what do you recommend? (Besides the ZR1.. i dont wanna build one... i have 9 of them already and sometimes i have trouble remembering which one im using when im sitting in the chatroom/lobby of an online track day too long.. and i will NEVER have a Viper faster than my Vettes in my stable..) i was thinking about the SLS or 599 but im not sure how much power they make.. do you know?
 
Lambo will never beat a 'Vette in a drag race.

Look into something with a 7 speed transmission. I'd say the MP4-12C, makes almost 900HP and weighs 1119kg fully tuned.

I have an SL65.. and i heard you could get 996 horses or something out of it, but its a standard model car, and will likely look like a brick flying down the road without a kit.. or wheels change.. if i can get the time later (and figure the process out.. i know some of it) I will upload pictures of the Murcielago and two Z06s, let me tell you, they are EVIL looking machines, especially the Murcielago from the back (i actually cant decide which is more menacing, the Murcielago from the rear 3/4 view or the 2006 Z06 from the front 3/4 view.. the 2004 car looks great from whatever angle you look at it, but regardless none of them will end up in the bad taste thread, and two of them use the shades of black they came with.. with the type of kit this game provides for you, i think it makes the body mods more pronounced when the car is black.. youll see what i mean when you see the 2006 Vette.. and the Murcielago even makes that "hideous" carbon kit look good with the black paint). I just dont want a machine that looks so ugly after my customary 10 mm suspension drop (i use it to help the car out cornering and stay steadier at high speed.. it serves a functional as well as cosmetic purpose for me, ive been using the trick on every car ive modded since GT3.. i do not just drop the car to its bump stops apply fart can and large:censored: wing then call it a day..) that i cant stand driving it.

the one thing that never gets old with Lambos, tedious maitnence, i think whats killing the murci is actually the 6th gear/differential setting, maybe if i set aside an hour or so saturday night i can sort the car out, i know from experience with my other LP640 that taking the downforce off at the speeds this car will reach will be a bad news situation (read- BIG wreck) halfway down the Mulsanne if it is racing there.. the older car is stock, and the back end walks around all over the place at 190 mph unless the track is dead flat, and even then it wanders, as a result i do not use it on higher speed tracks.. i dont even want to think about 225+

It's a bit heavy at around 1600 kg (after weight reductions), but mine has 1025 hp. I've gotten up to 235mph on SSR7. :dopey:
 
Buy a Cadillac Cien. Does 412kph down SSR7 under its own power with no draft. :)
 
A lot of people use the gt-40 with no stripe and drag with it has good top end power also the merc sls amg is fast as well you just have to break the motor in on them.

how does the SL600 have more power than the SL65 after mods? haha.. the RGT used to take an INSANE amount of power (i had an 1100 horsepower example in GT3) but i doubt it will accept that here.. id be more accepting of the big AMGs if i didnt already own a 227 mph down the Mulsanne (havent tried it at SSR7) 880 somethin horsepower stage 3 Turbo C63 (again full mods) that routinely shreds its tires after 3 laps of Monza without even trying (i occasionally use it for grinding the European championship offline)// but.. pathetically, when i enter a drift room.. i take the older stock car cuz i have more fun with that one.

I have good experience with my SLS i love it to death, hearing you say this makes me want to get another for modification (hopefully the newer car will break the older ones bad habit of being punted off track online on a regular basis by X2010 noobs.. its not a grudge with me because it only seems to happen to this car.. some of my others have been rear ended by accident, including my red ZR1 by a Civic RM the VERY first time i took it out.. but that SLS gets punted on purpose)
 
Use your Cadillac CIEN Concept. That thing can hit almost 250 mph with maximum downforce, so probably a bit more if you minimize it. It can't be traded by the way, its base price is 1.5 million credits.

with that in mind.. might as well put the thing to use! mmm... except because of that Murcielago (and a Z4M that i had lying around as a spare because my sister DEMANDED i painted my 1st one pink after we got in an argument, as a punishment for me. Not wanting to paint the original car which is one of my favorites to drive, i bought a second one and painted that one pink. However today i ran into the older Beetle or punchbuggy that she originally wanted, i bought it, rebuilt it, painted that one pink, and relieved the second Z4M of its pink and proceeded to mod the bajeezus out of it to repay the car for painting it such an embarrassing color) im now broke
 
If you have a lightweight car of 420 pp or less, you can keep doing that last seasonal event race. You will get about 100,000 cr in 3 minutes. The CIEN Concept is another one that doesn't launch well but you'll feel its power kick in shortly. It accelerates past 200 mph with ease. Fully upgraded you'll have about 970 HP with no engine wear in, but over 980 if you wear it in. It launches best with no TCS in 2nd or 3rd gear (I forgot which one).
 
thats the one thing i dont have.. thankfully i have a stock SV that totally destroys the Trial Mountain seasonal, my tip of advice to you, get an SV and go to Trial Mountain, best car/track combo in the game when you get it running just right (which is RIGHT on the limit.. non stop.. like sports softs might get fried after the race type hard.. the SV loves it, and you will too, ive never seen another car that can be driven right on the knifes edge like that without shooting off the track)
 
My R32 is a bit of a beast off the line, currently I doubt it would beat a decked 'Vette, but with work I think it would stand a chance, and also be more fun xD

I have a pumped R34 Nur Spec II that also fits that description =p maybe the two cars should meet for a race haha
