I can't drift with Sims either, whenever I do a drift, it just keeps spinning and spinning, and I'm controlling the amt. of throttle and everything, I don't go fast either. I just can't seem to figure why I am bad. It's probably just that I'm not supposed to be a good drifter.. :guilty:

Rich you can drift with sims dont lie lol, i know you prefer your vette powered treuno but the savannas we were twining with had sims man, your such a newb lol

Sims work great for me. i use them on every car i use. listen to sheron, starting stock with sims is the way to start.

Sims are awesome!!! they are the best tires to drift with!!! *if you practice a bit* i havent tried slicks or softs yet but i will soon!!! i usually stick with about 150HP-380HP because i dont like high powered drifting even though you can control it more better...still its not like real life!!! in reality, they seem like the cars have a ton of HP even though they only have like 200ps or 400ps MAX. this is only because due to rules and the physics would be ruined and the fun and reality of long drifts is gone with high powered drifting. (*i dunno wtf i am saying its just poping in my head*) :dopey:

i think i can help....you just need to practice your throttle and steering. In GT3 you can easily do full throttle drifts like I do. If you can master the sim tires then you could drift almost all cars. It took me about 1 hr a day in 5 days to get good in the sims. try to practice in deep forest raceway almost all turns are full throttled. I also use a controller because DFP is expensive. Sometimes the turbo can change alot the handling of the car try to use stage 2 on a FR like trueno or RX7
