The fail music in GT3 was actually much better than the You Fail theme in GT4. Sometimes, I even INTENTIONALLY fail in GT3 just to hear the theme. If there was some other song that would have worked, it would have to be that Everclear song that went "...and then you really might know what it's like..."

If you know you're not going to pass the license test, you have a few options. Retry, intentionally disqualify yourself (have all four tires leave the course, smack a wall hard, ram into the Pace Car, overtake the Pace Car), or simply exit and study the Demo Driver. All or most of the tests should be easy enough to get Bronze. The ones that will give you problems will be the Audi R8 at Sears Point (I hate "Infineon Raceway." Don't have to type that. Not like I'm getting paid for mentioning Infineon. Besides, that's why there's NASCAR), the Ruf Yellow Bird in the IA license at Trial Mountain, the Suzuka test with the Alfa Romeo convertible, the Grand Canyon time trial, and BOTH Nurburgring Nordschleife tests.

If you can win at a disadvantage, you win A-Spec points to prove that you could work at a disadvantage and still win. If this means very little to you, do things old school- tune until you run out of money. Tires. Engines. Suspension. Who cares? Just mod it all up as much as you can to win. Or use your B-Spec racer. Because after all, if you can't get the job done, MAYBE your B-Spec racer can back you up. All the tools you need to win races is in the game. Use them to your advantage.

I don't even remember "the" music from GT3. Fail music in GT4......... it made me not wanna fail anymore(maybe that was the purpose?). :yuck:

Anyway, so it seems like it's only my impressions that the AI upgrades as much as I do, but how to explain the fact that once I'm on a long straight of some circuit, and leading (by some luck) or because I cut them all out through the grass, I see AI position number too pulling harder then me, and then just passing me by? They not only seem upgraded but also over graded which means, they got more HP whatever at any moment then me, it happened to me in many of Japanese Tournaments where I could see some old Celica from 80s blowing by me once on the straight.
This could also be due to corner exit speed. If they exit the turn before a long straight faster than you do, and manage to get a good slipstream from you down the straight, then they will pass you on the straight in spite of having the same or slightly less power.

And how to explain the fact that once any race is over, and replay too, there is the black screen showing "Race of *** HP" ?? And every time I bump my hp, this messages displays about the HP I have - this means computer ties up the HP level of every car to be the same!!! How frustrating, you can never win if you're not too good of a driver because you need to be quicker by your driving style and not by power level.
No, the HP shown in the black screen at the start of the replay is YOUR car's HP as it would be if your car had done enough mileage to be "worn in" ( :dunce: okay, bad wording, I can't remember the miles/kms where this turns over, but basically your car's output will decrease slowly up to a maximum drop at a certain mileage).
