Well, Honda have attempted to go one better:

It's DUMBO!!
If this isn't photoshopped then where is the shadow under the winglet? There is a shadow under the incar camera pod just behind the wing. These cars get more ugly by the year. way too many wings for my taste. How much DF does one need anyway. Can the drivers not keep the car on the track?

Enough downforce to be competitive, that's how much they need.

That's a good thick chunk of CF there and it's not going to vudge unless they want it to budge.

Also note, that if it was to flex downwards, it would be going against the mechanical properties of the curve that forms it.

However, if it is "sprung" and not just merely formed in that shape, it would be worrying to see how it reacts in a collision.

If it was sprung, the sides of the wing would have to flex.

Omnis, dude, everything flexes. Get over it. Everyone has the same tests to comply to, and everyone has to try and push the limits.

Especially since Ferrari have gained half a second a lap by optimising the rear of the car. ;)

Watching Friday's practice on Speed, they showed two pics, one of the front wing thingy at rest and another at speed. The thingy did definately flex downward at speed.

But Hamilton was fifth on that second session. Both Renaults (!) and one of the Ferraris (probably Raikkonen) managed to split them.
