I think my DFGT just died. Any ideas on what happened?

It is not turning on when plugged in. You know how sometimes if the brake cable isn't plugged in the GT logo will flash? It does that, but not exactly. It's going "Tiny flash on/off - full on - off - full on" repeat.

I bought a new power cable and it's still doing it so it wasn't that. Any ideas on how I can fix this or am I out of a wheel?

It's hard to say what the problem is, but try plugging it into a PC or laptop if you can. If you can't test it, the problem could be bad USB ports on your PS3, but it could also be a dead controller on your wheel, a loose or broken cable, blown MOSFETs or... Basically anything.

Shame you are not in UK, I bought a DF-GT when it came out just to compare to Fanatec Turbo S and G25. It has never been used since and sits in a dark and lonely attic.

How much would shipping be on it? If it's not crazy I may consider buying it. Stay in touch.

200 for a DFGT?

Maybe you could try to find a better used wheel, or even a new one. The DFGT is a great wheel, but $200 is just too much for it right now.

I found great deals on G25/27 on selling sites like OLX, Mercado Livre(something like brazillian ebay).

You think it would be more than $200? That's what Amazon is charging right now.

I do know I have often paid Parts Express $50 for shipping so I would assume for it to cost at least that or more. I dont know how USA works but you might then have import charges to pay as well?

The DFGT on Ebay in UK has a few forsale for approx £50 - £70 so I would of thought you would find similar in USA $

I'd hate to buy used and I know it's way too much. New they were 150 and have gone as low as 120. Since the newer hardware came out they raised the price. Bastards
