So ive had my wheel set for around 3 weeks now, put in 50ish hours onto them and the pedals are getting brownish, pretty sure its oxidation

I use socks while im driving and dont have sweaty feet by any means, the set is great but considering it looks like this after a month, i dont want to think what it will look like after a year or so.

Can anything be done about this?

Ive contacted the support team without an answer so far.

They problably are. My wheel(T300RS), my T500 pedals and even my TH8A got rust. I don't live near beach and i don't see why they got rust at all.

Aluminium will oxidize if it's not clear coated. I suspect that even with socks there might be some slightly acidic effect going on which is causing them to tarnish. Your best bet would be to wipe them with rubbing alcohol after use or use racing shoes but really they shouldn't end up like that at all on a quality product.

That's the standard pedals right? Anyone knows if the T3PA or T3PA Pro also has the same problem?

I used to have a T500 pedals set and they did the same, but worse... but i used it without socks, with bare feet.

That's disappointing to know. I always use socks but I also sweat a lot so no doubt if I buy these pedals it's gonna end up black within a year...

Mine dind't got black.

The gas pedal(using it in GT Mode) got big rust spots, like it was in the outside, taking rain and sun for weeks.

But i do sweat a lot too...

Maybe I was exaggerating, but rust spots are still unsightly. It's a premium product and they expect it to be in contact with sweaty feet for extended periods of time, so they should have picked a better material. My G25 pedals have been going on for 8 years, used everyday and wiped with wet cloth every week and it is still as shiny as new. Now that's value for money.

Yeah Legend, and that spots were huge, really big and take a good part of the pedal.

All my excitment about GTSport and overall racing games gone to the dust with this desappointment with TM. I was think in buy a G29 but now, i bought some eletronics to build a gimmex and make my DFGT work with my PS4.

A few simple steps could fix this. You could use some aluminum/metal polish (maybe use shoes after cleaning it up), or spray it with a clear coat after cleaning the pedal face up, this way your sweaty socks shouldn't be a issue anymore.

Also oxidation on aluminum is much different than rust on steel, steel will eventually degrade a start to flake away, while aluminum only gets discolored so theres nothing structural to worry about.
