I think using the wheel can be considered a fitness exercise.

I'm not condoning to ditch going outside and running.

But damn, I was doing the seasonal event on cape ring with the Lamborghini, and restarted like 20 times. I was already sweating by my 10th time. lol :yuck:

Really? I don't find it that much work tbh ... I'm on FFB 10 and Power Steering off ... I think my FFB could be shot though lol!

I totally agree, after a 1 hour racing online I do be physical wrecked with my t shirt soaked, sorry to say you won't lose weight, just fluids :)

Some cars are a real work out while others drive effortlessly...but I have definitely woken up the next morning with sore arms after a long night of racing after taking time off from it.

Suzuka with the X2010: my arms were sore after about 20 minutes.

Uhm yeah. Forearms kinda starting to look like Popeye. Should be able to crush bricks by the time I hit level 40, lol.

Also setting the wheel up at the proper height and distance. I keep the force feedback turned up but the wheel height and position is almost the same as the position in my car. Never really noticed my arms getting sore or tired.

I was rly rly swett after a endurance race with my dfgt. But now that i have a much better wheel i can drive for houers with out getting tired

I found pc wheels work on the ps3 although not supported fully button wise so plugged my logitech momo had the ffb set to 10 hit a curb and the thing almost snapped my wrists lol, have it set at 2 but that can still be a real work out using unstable cars on twisty tracks!

Maybe, but after a while the effect wears off. X Challenge has had me with poor shoulders and ankles in the past, however.:crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy:

Hah, try driving some entry level motor sport vehicles in real life!

45mins in a 9hp Kart will destroy your entire body for a couple of days.

yes! Someone with the same experience as me!!! Try driving 40 laps indoor on a 1/4 mile circuit (concrete) with 2 inexperienced bachelors (I am 13) and you will indeed have a hard time waking up... LOL, I woke up and my whole body was sore, I had 8 bruises and a burn on my shoulder from the exhaust! :)

I use the G27 an honestly i don't find it that bad. Now or then i may get a sore ankle from having the pedals how i have them positioned (need to get some time to build my set-up) but apart from that i don't find it straining to drive for 6+ hrs.

Same here! Great to see people experiencing the same as me! :)

But there's no GT5 outside :(

Actually a couple years ago me and some friends got extension cables, 2 ps2s and 2 projectors and wheels n stuff and did gt4 battles on the side of a house... good times.

you guys really need to exercise... when my butt starts to hurt from sitting and playing for 30 or so minutes, i go to the gym.

I'm planning to run the 24H Nur race with a Chaparral 2D again soon. Mostly likely with the wheel this time.

I run every day, and right now my knee is sore, and it doesnt help with the racing.. :grumpy:
