I think we should get an endurance race.

Suzuka 300KM and 1000KM & Fuji 300KM and 500KM would be good for a start.

Daytona Road but hopefully not 24 hours!
If we where to get endurance races I like the idea of Fuji.:D
Endurance races are great, it turns the racing importance from outright speed to more strategy and Consistency.;)

zObviously I'm sure endurance races will be in the full game but in prologue it would be nice to have one. Wont happen as stated above without tyre wear and fuel. Prize money in Prologue is also irrelevant as it's easy to make cash online.

In GT4 I actually found B-spec to be boring and only ever used it when I hit a button by mistake. I only did two of the endurance races and both were easy apart from the length of time evolved. I actually treated them like qualifying events or time trials. I used my race spec Z and only did a hand full of laps before pitting as I'd worn out the tyres. The competition were in crap cars so it wasn't like I was going to lose based on time. Due to work and other commitments it took me over a week of pausing the game to finally finish 24hrs on the Ring. My PS2 has never sounded the same since but I did put in great laps and remember every corner today.

I think we need to see tire wear, fuel consumption and a bit of a damage model before we can enjoy endurance races.

I remember writing a very long reply to this post at about 3 in the morning, going on about all that. Except I would personally add weather (and therefore different tyres for different weather) and day/night cycles to that list, I'd love to start a race on a sunny day which gets in your eyes at sunset, then when night comes have a torrential downpour, and then heavy fog at dawn, it would make things really quite interesting!

Although with this they may have to do a lot of work on the AI, imagine you struggling to see in the fog or rain yet the computer cars could just drive with unlimited visibility.
