I was watching the Woodstock movie on VH 1 today, I only caught bits and peices of it, but I did catch some of the parts where they had the people walking and bathing nude. They had the little blackout things on there so you couldnt see anything. Later on tonite I was watching it and I saw the part where all of these people are smoking Mother Nature, now tell me this. How can they show people smoking and not show people nude, which one is worse? I would have to say if my son was old enough to watch TV, then I would rather have him see a bunch of nude people rather than a bunch of people setting around smoking joints and bowls. What do you guys think about this? :nervous:

Yea..... the gt40 is a great car. what? How the hell did i end up in the conversation forum. I was whoring in the GT4 forum and my stupid joke was useless put here. Jeez this is like twilight zone.

oh, its been moved...

yeah theres just not enough nudity on tv these days.

funny how public nudity is less socially acceptable than smoking :dunce:

I don't know if he should be watching either one, but I guess I agree.

Legally speaking, both are illigal.
Morally speaking (my morals), I think there's nothing wrong with either.
In general practice though, I'd rather see the smoking; most people are ugly.

I'd rather see smoking marijuana (personally don't, but it's relatively harmless compared to TOBACCO, ALCOHOL and GLUE VAPORS) and nudity than violence. Funny how Star Wars III (decapitation, burning, lopped off limbs, massacred children) is a GP movie while they ban boobies on TV. Heck, kids below 3 years old see them all the time on their mommies, so what's wrong with showing them?

I'll have to hand it to you, there were some ugly people in that movie and most of them didnt have a clue that what was going on there that day would be one of the greatest musical events of our time. I bet some of them look back on it now and wonder, "God, did I really do that?" :banghead:

I think you were smoking "mother nature" when you made this thread.

JOKING!: I agree, i would rather see naked people walking around then people smoking.... actually i couldn't give a hoot!

Well, the mommy thing I think I could explain, seeing about 3 guys and 10 girls taking a bath in a pond of water, that would be a little bit hard to explain. I would still rather see the naked people over smoking Mother Nature though :dopey:

 I had my days of smoking pot, it isnt something that I am proud of though, but I dont regret it at all, some of the best times that I had in my life, if I remember right. But if I had it to do again, :) I know for a fact that I wouldnt do drugs of any kind.

Look, if you really want to see naked people, write in to VH1.

Let's see; what would I'd rather see on TV...

A. Ugly, hairy scrotum with dangling shriveled penis, or...

B. naturally growing plant being smoked?"

Answer: C (Gilligan's Island).

We all know those people smoking weed, but theres no actual proof that they were, they might of just been smoking rolling tobacco.

Nakedness is nakedness at the end of the day.

Yes, but by the time they are old enough to know and realize it, they usually don't remember it and really, aren't looking at the full breast. They usually have their eyes closed or are looking up at the mother.

Breast feeding a child isn't the same as this case of the nude.

I agree with you on the smoking joints part. I wouldnt want to let my child see someone smoking. Rather naked people, its natural anyways. Everyone has been born naked and thats what we humans are, naked!

Yeah kinda funny ey, put a gun in an 18 year olds hand, let him kill people. BUT no, no titties, theyre terrible and dangerous to touch! :ouch:

But he has a mouth full of nipple. They don't get to experience that for another 13-14 years!

You can thank religion's taboos for that.

My dad smoked cigs for about 20 years and all during that time after my dad smoked a cig, I never saw his eyes get red, or never heard him say that he had the munchies...lol...lol...lol... Oh, he never complained of having cotton mouth either...lol..lol...lol...

Maybe. If they want their child to grow up sheltered and then have a rude awakening when they move out into the real world.

I often wonder why parents wonder what their children will see. Is it not up to you, the parent, to control this?

Pretty much it is up to the parents, but the parents cant watch there children 24/7, so its good to try and teach them at a young age what is right and what is wrong. When youre kids are real young, the things that they see and hear have a huge influence on they way that they will think about things, this is also where the parents come in handy, to explain that what they see and hear might not always be right.

PS

I think sheltered is sorta a bad word to describe it, I think I would use protection instead.
