How the heck did you find that site? :odd:

And there's no way to become immortal. Life would get so boring anyway. You're a crusty old fart, and you can barely move around. If I was like that for 50 years, let alone infinity, I'd be one sad little man.

I wish I could help all those kids that wanna kill themselves. The messed up thing is that they help each other doing it.

Ashley are you trying to hint something? :nervous:

Theoretically it is possible for human to live forever though.

Without even mentioning religion, it is theoretically possible for a human to live forever.

If I were you I'd be asking Mark how he found it, very odd.

That website is so pathetic. I'm sorry, it's my opinion, but i just read something about someone who wants to kill themselves because some guy keeps touching his apartment.

OMFG that title was hilarious in itself but the rest of it was even funnier!! Teen Depression Central... Suicide Forum...

Life can be continued for an eternity, just by re-arranging atoms and molecules. But that explains the issue at the same time. Other methods of living forever would be cloning or freezing your body. If i had the money i would freeze my body just before my death, and wait for the future to offer me the technology required.
Ps. I'm not the guy that posted on those forums :D

Freezing your body or cloning would not allow you to live forever. Freezing would just greatly delay death from occuring, and cloning creates a copy; its not you, just a really accurate replica of yourself (genetically speaking).

It is theoretically possible to live as long as the universe exists (after all, how could one exist if there is no medium in which to exist?). Generally, humans tend to die because the body gets overwhelmed by a disease, or because a critical organ fails. So, assuming you can avoid fatal diseases, and have an organ farm at your disposal to replace ailing organs (or have the necessary technology to repair old organs), you could live forever. Assuming you don't get shot in the head by an AK-47, run over by a bus, or happen to be on Earth in 4 billion years or so when the sun will expand and explode that is....

That's my understanding of immortality.

*EDIT* Come to think of it, the organ farm idea wouldn't work. What would happen when your brain begins to deteriorate? You can't just replace your brain. So, in order to have immortality, you would have to have technology that would repair old organs.

That site is disturbing.

Not to sound mean, but it's just a bunch of emo teens wanting attention. 60% of them probably have never even had 2nd thoughts about suicide .

Immortality

If you were to be Immortal i would want to be around 25years old, as from what i can see that is about the pinnicle of Humans's phyical fitness?

The only thing that would suck would be all your friends, kids, grand kids etc etc dieing. Youd be a loner basically. 60years would be nothing if you lived 10,000 youd be so used to people dying you might actually want to die yourself.

I would however love to live longer than 100 years. It would be nice to somehow slow the aging process so your body is 25years old for longer than 1 year. Say until you hit 50, your body is youthful and brilliant, once you hit 50 your body then starts to deteriate and you live to around 130 - 150 or so.

Who knows.

I dont think its possible to live for ever but it definetly is possible to live longer.

If I was immortal, I could grow a beard longer than the circumference of earth. That's SO metal!

IMHO,only way to become immortal is to accomplish or invent something that has not been accomplished or invented yet,but might become of great importance for mankind. Only then, you become immortal.

Wright brothers are immortal.
Tesla is immortal.
Neil Armstrong is immortal.
So the conclusion is this:

If you want to become immortal, accomplish,or invent something not done or invented yet, because only way to become immortal is going down in history.
Be it as the first person who went to Mars,as a dictator who is 10 times more evil than Hitler,or as a person who will invent something like a warp drive.
Once you manage to do something like that, you'll become immortal.Although, your body will die,but your name will be remembered in history. Will your name be rmembered with fear,or with joy,it's up to you.
I hope that anyone who actually read this post understood what I just said.

Your post reminds me of What archilies said in the movie Troy.
