I'm not talking about being a member of Rogue Squadron, but about Honda's never-built motorcycle. With a V-6 and styling like that (also check the vid here)

It might not be American, but it's definitely got what it takes to be a dream machine.

150 degree V6? Sounds like a Gold Wing motor with each bank cocked up 15 deg for cornering clearance.

May the force be with you. Anyhow, that is a very nice motorcycle. I almost kind of thought of the Honda Forza scooter (I'm probably sure the Forza came out well after this X-Wing). But yeah, it looks wicked.

Hello, Chris Bangle? THIS is how it's done.

{Those wheels are mediocre at best, though, and rather distracting.}

I'm not too keen on this either.

First, I was expecting this:

Then, I thought it was going to be something like this:

I'm kind of dissapointed now.....

Anyone care to take-up adding it in occasionally as well?

Anyhow, I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to motorcycles. Now I wouldn't ever consider buying one in my current state of life, however I know for a fact that I would steer-clear of your average Honda and Suzuki cycles; Too boring, no "soul" that you'd want in a bike.

So yes, that does put me in the BMW and Moto Guzzi fanclub when it comes to bikes, but more than anything I'd opt for the Harley when necessary. My Aunt and Uncle are quite into bikes, and although they have had Harleys and Hondas, the Harleys are always what I've liked best.

...However, I guess I can't be too much of a snob. I've got two vintage Yahmaha dirt bikes that I should take out more often, maybe put some street tires on them for the summer, get myself licensed, etc. One is a '70 and the other is a '71 750cc bike. I've only got the orange one running right now, and she has less than 350 miles on the clock. It was my Dad's when he was a kid, and it sat in my Grandparent's barn for 25 years before it was dusted off, cleaned out, and brought back to running order.

...Pictures would be nice, but they're locked up at Grandma and Grandpa's while they are off to Florida until the end of March...

Hondas and Suzukis are soulless? What's next, European and American bikes have blood running through them?

750cc? I didn't think they made dirt bikes that big that long ago.

Good point. I meant 150cc. Oops.

I suppose I should be more specific and site the cruiser bikes and such. My uncle had a Goldwing, and what a hideous beast that was. I didn't like it at all, this coming from a guy who doesn't care a whole lot for choppers and other "outrageous" bikes. Nice and simple is all I need...

There we go... The BMW F 800 ST... Expensive, but very nice indeed.

If you want a bike to make you feel like Kaneda, you can lobby Suzuki to produce their awesome G-Strider...

Only in America...... When I think of Hondas and Suzukis, I'm thinking sport bikes and racers. Aren't Goldwings for older riders and riders who likes riding cross states?

If I ever get a bike, it will have to be something along the lines of:

Last few years, I've been liking the old Japanese bikes.

chaser_fan: That's a very cool concept. 👍

Hmm...that X-Wing looks like a touring bike, city bike/moped and sporty standard all mish-mashed together, and not really in a good way. Take away the saddle bins and work on the front end a bit, though, and you'd have a nice-looking bike.

+1.

I could try, but I usually get my news here.

Ride a Harley, ride the best!
Ride a mile, walk the rest!

what I can see of the heads do look like the one's on Dad's Goldwing...

I think the Goldwing's Engine in a sport-tourer would be heck of a combo...

The lastest generation of Goldwings are really fun to ride... they have really good acceleration and handle amazingly well for the size bike they are...

That's just scary. If you fall, isn't that like a small car landing on top of you?
