I hate city based courses!!

Why?

Because I don´t like courses with camber-free 90º artificial curves that are boring to play in!

These courses are only good for showing off the graphics!

Apart from that they´re useless!

Rome is boring, Tokyo is boring, Seattle is boring (ok, this one is not bad at all), Special Stage Route 5 & 11 are BORING!!!

Yet, I see more and more of these city based courses in GT4!

Please stop!!

I want more tracks like Trial Mountain or Deep Forest Raceway!!

I WANT GRINDELWALD!!!:banghead: :trouble:

if this was the "Real Racing simulator" then id agree with you but it isnt this is "The Real DRIVING Simulator" and I personally like city courses the same has a regular raceway, true it shows off more ov the graphics but I think its nicer because we dont drive regular cars on race tracks all the time we drive them thru our cities and what not, and by having both city courses and racing courses in GT are a great mix... Like ive said many time before PD isnt making a game just for you, there making a game for everyone to enjoy... you dont want city courses but I do and just because you dont want them doesnt mean nobody else does... Everyone has there own opinion but im sick of people thinking that the game is meant for them and how THEY like it...
If you dont like it, dont play it...

Grindewald is maybe my favourite track and I was very disappointed to see that it wasn't included in GT3. But it will be returning for GT4, Kazunori said that all GT tracks will be present.

I even think we've seen a screenshot of it already... remember the backfire pic?

This is Grindewald in RL

What Kaz said wasn't clear. We really don't know if he meant the entire GT series, or just the PS2 GT series games. But, I hope you're right, Tekk.

I would love Grindewald in GT4, but I always thought it was a street course, DM.

I agree, although some of the new ones (Hong Kong circuit) might be pretty cool :)

I'd say Citta d Aria (Hey hey bet I spelt it wrong yet again) is more of a mix of city style tracks & race tracks since it looks like its got proper corners & I can't wait to drive on it.

Rport03, you´ve said it all here!!

It was my opinion, and a valid one as I´m sure a great deal of hardcore GT players will agree with me...

So please stop saying you´re sick of people who "blablabla"...

Indeed!

That course and Tsukuba are the ones that made me more excited about GT4 so far.

Can´t wait!!!!!:D

Grindelwald is a street course, it's not a city streets course though.

Along with the "Grind" I hope to goodness that Red Rock Valley comes back. I loved to race with my Stratos on the turbo and MR races...not to mention to hear that Dino V6 howwwl!!

Bedhead

yea id love to see red rock come back but just as long as they dont do what they did in gt2 where you cold win 500,000$ in one race. I think that anybody could beat gt2 in a little while.

You won a new car in GT2 almost every race, I didn't like that about the game, and that red rock valley race was stupid, 4 races and you take your pick of the games fastest cars.

that speed 12 was a monster. It sounded like a leaf-blower with rabies. It looks like utter crap in gt3... it needed a spoiler, and what in god's name was up with those horrid wheel wells? were they drunk in blackpool when they thought those up?

The Speed 12's a great car, in GT2 and 3. Both types of Speed 12 look great and if the one in GT3 had a spoiler it wouldn't be like the real Cerbera Speed 12 would it?

I agree, personally I'd prefer to not win any cars + simply win a little more cash & unlock the rare cars so they can be bought from the car dealerships.

I'm going to have to disagree. The design is pretty from some angles, but I personally found it too bulgy and disproportionate. now the tuscan R: THAT is beauty.

tuscan r pics

It's an aquired taste, . It's all down to opinion, I've sat in a Cerbera Speed 12 though and it was tight.

Did you ever play Grand Prix Legends?
This track has been made for this simulator, you could try out some drifting old F1 cars on it!!

Some minor changes were made too the walls : there are more grass traps along the track, which makes it more difficult to get advantage of wall-riding. Nice!

the grindlewald was a great track... love to see it back... but i'm a little bit worried about de Citta D'Aria track as i only saw 1 car at a time racing on it (rally-style), that would be a shame.... i think.....

Well hopefully you can race 6 on it or maybe 4 like in GT3 wet track.

Rally stages have 2 cars Vs. in GT games anyway :)

@red falcon, so Monaco isn't a realistic track (is only 10 feet wide at some points as well)? Don't get me wrong but the GT3 rally segment has always been head to head, and i would hate to only be able to drive that track (citta d'aria) as a time trial... i know it's a real challenge to beat the clock but i jst like to beat at least one other car..... (male macho mode kicking in right here...;) )

how does the rest think about this issue?

There are pics with two cars on Citta di Aria and IMHO it will be a classic tarmac rally track in rally section of the game, with two cars competing on it.

And duels on it will be the ultimate hard-core, just thing of the slipstreaming and overtaking in brake-points. :)

Yeah, it would be great to have head-to-head races in Citta D'Aria!

But I guess the AI has to be a lot better than GT3 in order to have a decent race in it.

Autumn Ring Mini was my favorite track, I really have no idea why. Maybe because it reminds me of a grassroots track. The full Autumn Ring was great to, very challenging and I've love to see it's track design updated with better graphics.

Well the full version of Autumn Ring was in GTC & it rocked imo :) I'd be suprised (& dissapointed) if it didn't appear in GT4. Along with the mini version too ;)
