I've been hearing a lot about hybrid cars in GT2 and I was wondering how I could get them... Okay, I hope you guys don't mind me asking but what's the Game Shark code for creating hybrid cars in GT2? And how does it work?
 
There's not one code to make a hybrid in GT2.

There's what's called a basecode for each car part (engine/weight/tire/turbo, etc.)

Then there's a separate part code for each part from each car (S2000 GT1 engine, GT40 Super Soft Tires, etc.)

you just take the basecode you want for the version of GT2 that you have (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, and maybe Greatest Hits), put it with the correct part code, and there ya go.

If it's that complicated then I guess I'll use it some other time... I was thinking about having the engine of a Dodge Viper in a Sileighty
 
Ok, for GT2 hybrids...

They are very easy, especially if you have a Gameshark Pro (3.2 is best, but you can use 3.1 too)

Gameshark CDX will work, but takes a lot longer. Still worth it though.

Most important things in GT2 hybrids (that I've seen): Downforce, Weight distribution, and tire grip. Oh yeah, a lot of power helps a lot too ;)

Good torque-y power though, using a weak little engine with 140 hp but 60 lb-ft torque isn't going to get you anywhere with hybrids.

A dex drive plugs into a PC, and reads your psx mem card and transfers it to the pc and vice versa. But unlike a sharkport, U plug the mem card into the dex.

Anyways, Takumi, you could probably order one online somewhere. I'm not sure if they make them anymore though.
 
Jeez, calm down. And you ARE spamming up the forum, basically restating what others have already said in most of the topics you've posted in. And you post about 20 or 30 times all at once, it looks like.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. Just dont screw up any good topics with useless restating of information already provided.
 
just like you are when you do the job of a moderater. theres nothing wrong with me talking on 20 or 30 topics at once or for that matter talking on 100 at a time im not mad at you just dont see why you have to state it if it bothers you then why stay around i only see you complaining

taka you can instant message me sometime, i have a book full of codes for gt2 hybirds, its not a store bought book just a tablet of paper my friends and i put together. I can give you some stuff to work with. On the othe hand contrary to us obviously not seeing eye to eye synard probably knows the most about gt2 on here,
