I have made it to IA (i believe) where the first few tests are the corvette on the wet circle track, try as I might, I CAN NOT get in under the time, what's the trick? i tried keeping a high average speed and staying
towards the outside of the track, and high speed in the middle, neither worked, i tried searching for it but ia is too short a word to look up, I'm also getting beat on the last rally license test.....

Welcpme to GTPlanet!:)

Keep trying. Ive heard that the tires grip better afte many attempts. If this is true, just keep trying. Watch the demo to see where your ghost falls behind.:)

Sean: Welcome to GTPlanet!

Some people have better luck being gentle on the throttle using the right analog stick for gas/brake; some do better with the buttons. I like the stick.

Try to get the car into a turn with full steering, near the inside rumble strip. Then, gently steer with the throttle - if the car goes wide, back off a little; if it tightens up, give it more gas.

You can also make time with a good launch. Try launching in 3rd gear, and when the revs fall off, downshift to second. It may be easier than trying to baby the wheelspin on a wet track.

guess it's time to go manual then :P I usually just use auto, I have a hard time paying attention to turning, braking, and shifting..it's worth a try anyway, thanx all for your input! :D

Watch the demo and pay attention to the speed carefully. You can do this on automatic, you just have to be gentle on the gas and work the gas and steering carefully. After a few sucessful attempts, you can concentrate on staying in front of your ghost.

Make sure not to get too high on the curb or it will pull you off the line you want to stick to. anytime you get wide, drop speed slightly and keep the steering the same and you should drop back top where you want to be.

It took me many retries with the 4 versions of this test, but you can do it with the Automatic tranny.
