Ian Bell Mocks Soulja Boy Over Rapper's Failed Gaming Console

This is honestly kind of pathetic coming from Ian, and that's saying a lot considering the type of antics that Ian has gotten into not only within the past week or so, but also over the past few months.

Some people criticize Kaz for being a bit too closed off.

And then there's this.

I have leveled some pretty harsh criticism to Kaz for a long time, alongside the following of PD fans. But I will give Kaz this - he would never, in a million years, do this, or anything close to this.

Ian would do himself a lesson in humility.

"Soulja Boy, you can't even come across as a rich, entitled :censored:hole properly! Let me show you how it's done."

I suspect Ian falls into the "all publicity is good publicity" camp. Which is sort of a shame, SMS does enough interesting stuff that Ian doesn't need to be out there engineering internet drama to get their name known.

The Internet Detectives found out quite early that Soulja Boy's console was just a rebranded Chinese plug-and-play thing full of illegal ROMs and rightfully predicted that it would vanish pretty fast. There's no reason to poke the dead horse any further, unless you want to start attracting the flies to yourself.

I thank you all :) xx

Soulja boy already tweeted 'I want in'...

Either Soulja Bell is delusional, or he saw the mostly negative reception to the idea of the Mad Box and is now trying to play it off as a joke.

We're not seeing a mostly negative response, it's been about 60 40 in our favour. But it's generating momentum and that's the key here.

Ian has always been like this I am afraid. Feeling entitled.

You know, some people live on the street through no fault of their own and then you have people like this.

Give it a rest. I grew up in a single parent family in the poorest part of Belfast (the Shankill road). I couldn't get home for 4 days due to people shooting each other up and down my street. I lived with bombs going off almost daily and shaking our windows. I made every penny I have, myself, from nothing. I have zero sense of entitlement, I'm just having fun.

Ian. Dude. Please. Enough with this crap for ****'s sake.

Don't you have a game to finish up rather than wasting time on this?

I have five thousand LBE boxes to make for a large Chinese company for a huge project. The Mad Box is flowing organically from that. And I'll continue to have fun whilst working.

We have 3 games to finish up.

Whoops, forgot you visited this forum... my apologies.

That said, while I’m obviously pessimistic about the prospects for your box, I’m always in favor of competition. So I’ll wish you good luck, at least. 👍

Oh man, I hope you have a good shovel...

Frankly, I couldn't care less about the entire Mad Box thing - it's going to be pretty obvious shortly that such a thing will be an ill advised move in a market which has, for a long time now, essentially swatted down another alternative console not from the big three from the Dreamcast onward. If he wants to do this for whatever reason he has in his head, go for it. I'm not the dude who runs a business which is obviously successful.

What really gets me is the fact that Ian Bell has it in his head that all of these antics is actually helping him, that any publicity is good publicity. no, it isn't. It just makes you look like a loser who is trying to beat his chest and make sure people know your name. It's pathetic. Especially when you consider that Soulja Boy doesn't have glitches and bugs that have been present in his games, in some form or another, since 2009, at minimum, and has had often times hostile and unfriendly pad controls that have basically been ignored because the sim racing community doesn't give a **** about anybody running on pads because they expect people that don't have the money, space, or are new to the genre to plop down $150 or so just to get their foot in the door, and actively are hostile to those types.

Tell yourself this Ian - what does this sort of sniping do to your reputation? All it does is tank it. Though going by your usual manner, you'll just continue to act as if you're invisible and continue shooting yourself in the foot.

No worries man, it's just one of those things people get wrong without realizing it.

Mr. Bell is truly making a fool of himself at this point. I don't think anyone expected this

Yes, because trying to slag on somebody who made their own console when you can barely make a game that isn't a glitchy mess six months out, and paving over said glitches while trying to act as if your ****'s new is 'having fun'.

This whole ordeal is a meme. People are laughing at Soulja Boy.

Have some fun

Pretty hilarious tbh :D

Ian on his yacht with 5 fine big booty hoes lmao. He could even do a porn movie before Pcars 3 gets released. Or do a Project Cars 3: Ho, Ho, Ho Special for Christmas :cheers:

But seriously, he's earned it. The fact that he's showing off, so what? Why should that bother anyone?
