You should be able to connect the microphone you used for your ps3 to your computer. If its the earplug I think it is. This is just Bluetooth and if your computer doesn't already have Bluetooth you could get yourself a Bluetooth USB dongle / adapter

I bought one a long time ago to more easily transfer pictures from my old cellphone to my pc and In Norway were everything is super expensive I payed 12-13£ for it.

I have a Logitech F540 witch is wireless, but it use an external box to make it wireless, to this box I have to connect the USB (microphone) and sound cables to get the game sound from the PS3. I only unplugged the USB and connected it to my PC and 15 seconds of installing device and I was connected. I never thought it was that painless, guess the pretty expensive headset was worth its money ;)

Just try to make it work, as no one is forcing this to anyone, but if we all get in it will be worth it. Lag free game and voice, not many championship on this forum can compete with that :scared:

No practice today ?

I was planning to go on, but like Arkano said about tired.. I really feel it myself, only slept 4hours last night and I like to have at least 6-7. So practice for me is pointless, I could meet you on teamspeak to check that.

We can try it tomorrow mate , get some rest .

I'm not going to bed, I'm just not driving. I am already on teamspeak waiting for you mate.

Sorry just checking the thread again now

i don't het Teamspeak. when i download it and unzip the files i have a map "teamspeak3-serve-win32"

in the map there are obviously some files when, but what do i have to do from here. There is one file called 'ts3server-win32" but it doesn't go open.

you would have to download the client Maxitsu, not the server ;)

And you should close the server down, it will need to be logged into from one of the clients to be set up. Its beside the clock of your computer. Just select close

Sorry I didn't turn up on Saturday, my girlfriend broke up with me which got me really down and feeling sick over the weekend :(. I'm feeling a bit better now so I'll be at the next race for sure.

I'm sorry to hear that Joey, know the feeling and it is nothing I can say to make it better so its about time to shut up.

But of course no problem that you didn't show. See you at the next one, hope to see you on our new Teamspeak server also ;)

Hi Guys, sorry for my abstinence lately but work is keeping me busy for the last couple of weeks and I don't get to practice as much as would like and need to.

I finally managed to put down a couple of laps in Monza. After I think I got my setup right I did a stint of 3 "Quick Laps" of 1:47.954 / 1:47.974 / 1:47.990 on RH tires. The problem is I have no indication if those times are somewhat competitive or not. :nervous:

What times are you guys getting?

By the way, I hope I get the Teamspeak working until Saturday.

Cheers

My best on RH is 1:46 something, but usually I'm in the 47's myeself, but I think I drop the hard for this race. Mediums seems to last long enough and they are a bit faster ;)

Anyway

Don't worry Joey you can get a better gf , her loss .

I think the hard tyre could really work here and make a 1 stop possible but it is too risky with the possibility of rain falling . Whoever gets the strategy right here will win .

Interesting question JoeTruckV8 and I will try answer as good as I can.

In the real world you would have the blue flag flashing as soon as you pass the guy who is a lap ahead, and you would have to yield, but I say if you can out race the guy you should be allowed, but only then. Racing him will stop him from going at his own pace and your not racing him after all, you are a lap behind.
If I were you and you could make a pass without risking anything, go for it. But if the guy are still on you after one or two lap(s) you should let him go. Then your tyres aren't good enough to "out race" the guy 1 lap in front of you. Let him go and take advantage of his slipstream, but keep out of his way.
If I saw you wanted to take back the lap over me and I saw you had a faster pace than me I would just let you go, but if we would have the same pace I do not want to go around a track defending my position to a guy a lap behind me. That only slow me down and my race at this time of race isn't against you, but the guys around me on the leader board.

It's a hard decision to make, but if your a lap behind because of a different tyre strategy it will be your own fault to have picked that strategy, not the guy lapping you. We aren't forcing any tyres on anyone, we are free to use any tyres, but only the soft once. And we aren't forcing anyone to use the soft, but limiting it.

I hope I made you smarter and not even more unsure about it..

I think there was good reasoning from both sides, this was an interesting topic, see you on the track.

Yea I picked this league at 1st based of the race time & date schedule. But know I'm a little nervous because I just got my bike fix, and we usually ride on Saturdays so we can have 1 day to rest before work on Monday. But I like this series so much that I will most likely just move riding to Sunday so I can protect my points, if there is actually any points worth being protected, lol.
:nervous:
