What do you mean by computer? CPU or system (case fan)?

I try to keep my computer something along the lines of 55 degrees max on the CPU and 35 degress max on the system. Usual idle temps (not at boot, just idle) are 45 degrees on the CPU and 30 on the system. My CPU fan is rubbish though, as it should be around 30 degrees idle on the CPU. Gonna get a new one soon.

I meant CPU, mine is at 51*C at idle right now, is that fine? How much does the tempature increase when i start to run a game?

Between 30-50C should be fine. The latter obviously being under load.

51C idle seems a little high. You might want to invest in a better heatsink.

Well i made a mistake, its around 45C idle, 51C after playing a game. What tempature should it not cross? Its a pentium 4. Im asking these questions because im playing around with overclocking my graphics card, before i get my new one.
