Identifying music

Another daft question? I have tried search and couldn't find the answer....

Is there a way to identify the music that is playing at any particular time?

I've had a couple of occasions where I've really wanted to get the music, and a couple where I wanted to make sure the track was disabled to protect my ears....

Every time I've gone in and searched the library, playing a bit of each track until I found the one I was after.

Is there an easier way? A button I've missed or something?
 
It would be nice if when the song changed, the title and artist would pop in the corner somewhere. I don't want to disable any of the songs, but I like to be able to know the names of my favorites and play them again and again.
 
I changed the music to play my own tracks as this is possibly the worst soundtrack I've known in a GT game! Remember the classics like Feeder and Ash? I still drive like a maniac in real life when I hear Buck Rogers playing!

I did the same as you though, listened to each track and then determined there were about 3 or 4 that were ok to listen to, whereas the rest should've been left in the recording studio!
