I always park my 323 with the parking brake up and in park. However, when I go into the car wash at my work I stop on the little pad that activates it, I put it in nuetral with the parking brake on. When I drive other cars(new cars, people's cars), I park em in park without the parking brake, or if it's a stick in nuetral with the parking brake on. I found out early on that if I park a new car that'll be driven soon with the parking brake on, the salesmen will sometimes not notice it and try to leave with it on, then give me a bad look when they realise that it is on.
My 323's driver's seat has to be in the position that the front of the seat lines up with the P on the shift gate. If it isn't, I have to change it for ample control of the car.
When I work in the service drivethrough(parking cars, basically, Mazdas and Oldsmobiles), I park the cars I like closer to the building, and the cars I don't like farther away. I also park the stick cars facing down the slope of the parking lot so that if I have to move them later I don't have to worry about rolling into another car or peeling out.
